Woman claimed social housing in Surrey borough while owning a home in Poland
The Surrey council has thousands of households on its waiting list: On July 14 at Guildford Crown Court, Janina Marciniak-Kazarian was sentenced to a 12-month Community Order. She was also ordered to pay nearly £12,000 in prosecution costs, payable by instalments, and a victim surcharge of £95.

The sentence follows her conviction back in April where a jury found Marciniak-Kazarian unanimously guilty of two counts of fraud following a three-day trial.
