SUDANESE NATIONAL: An urgent manhunt has been launched for a violent robber who is on the run after he escaped custody while being transported to hospital.

Marwan Jumaa, 20, was serving an indefinite sentence at a secure hospital facility following his conviction for two robberies that left two women seriously injured.
