"Air carriers will have the opportunity to cancel flights several weeks before departure without risking losing valuable takeoff and landing slots at busy airports if they face a fuel shortage this summer.
The government has developed new emergency measures that will allow airlines to plan their operations in advance and thus avoid chaotic cancellations at the last moment, which cause inconveniences for passengers.
According to the proposals, carriers will be allowed to combine flights on routes with several departures to the same destination during the day. This means that passengers will be able to transfer from their original flight to a similar one in order to save fuel."

I posted yesterday about the two Sudanese immigrant women who died crossing the channel. The MSM reported that they died from either being "crushed or asphyxiated" while on the boat, although no 'men' suffered the same fate.
