๐Ÿ‘€Thousands of Epstein files disappear amid Iran war โ€“ US politician

The Department of Justice is attempting to conclude its document production despite previously removing key materials, US Congressman Thomas Massie said. He noted that lawmakers had reviewed unredacted versions at the DOJ, but some of the most significant documents were later taken down.

๐Ÿ‘‰ According to him, these included files related to Virginia Giuffreโ€™s case, as well as an image of Jeffrey Epstein in a room with boxes marked โ€œCIA,โ€ which is no longer accessible.

At the same time, the DOJ acknowledged that 47,635 Epstein-related files were taken offline for review, including materials containing unverified allegations involving Donald Trump.

Donald Trump last night touted a 'merger' between the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland as he threatened a further rift in UK-US relations.

The US President, who is continuing a public spat with Keir Starmer over the Iran crisis, made reference to possible Irish re-unification at a St Patrick's Day event in Washington DC.

Speaking at the Friends of Ireland Luncheon, Mr Trump noted how Nothern Ireland's Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly and Irish Prime Minister Micheal Martin 'get along so well'.

'I don't know if I should be promoting a merger. I love mergers. We're going to get into a little trouble.'

Mr Trump's comments threaten to increase transatlantic tensions in the wake of his repeated attacks on the Prime Minister.

The PM angered the US President by initially refusing to allow America to use British air bases to launch its assault on Tehran.

More than 50 MPs, peers, rabbis and communal figures gathered in central London last week to launch the UKโ€™s largest ever Refugee Shabbat, with a record number of organisations taking part.
The event, hosted by HIAS+JCORE on Thursday 12 March, marked the start of Refugee Shabbat 2026, a global initiative bringing Jewish communities together in solidarity with refugees and asylum seekers.
Founded by HIAS in 2018 and coordinated in the UK by HIAS+JCORE for the past five years, the programme has grown rapidly. This year, 66 organisations across England and Scotland are participating โ€“ more than double the number involved in 2025.
