The System That Creates Nick Fuentes | Carl Benjamin Explains. Young men aren’t radicalising because of ideology, they’re reacting to a world that no longer works for them. In this conversation with Carl Benjamin, we break down why the post-war consensus has collapsed, why politics feels illegitimate and why a generation feels pushed to the edge.
In this episode we discuss:
– Why young men feel shut out of the system
– The collapse of the post-WWII consensus
– Piers Morgan, Nick Fuentes and generational revolt
– Identity politics vs material reality
– Legitimacy, consent and non-compliance
– Why politics no longer fixes anything
– What happens when power has no limits
– Why discomfort is unavoidable....... https://youtu.be/W0YD38rUBDY?si=RL

Shots fired (why after Franco did Spain quickly spiral into a hard-lefttard society when the ex-Communist states in central and eastern Europe are more resilient?)

Not the sort of show I'd normally choose, but I was looking for something on the fly whilst cooking. Some interesting elements.

Nick Griffin is the former leader of the British National Party, which the BBC would certainly have characterised as ‘far-right’. He prefers to describe himself as a Christian nationalist. Once Nick h

I'm in two minds on this. Politically, I'm opposed. Parentally, I support. Yes, parents should have final say, but there's often a split in households. It's very negative for their intellectual pursuits.

DANNY FINKELSTEIN'S BOOK
I thought this book might make some interesting bedtime reading. If it's not too turgid, I'll post the a summary of what it's like.🧵

So "...Prof. Alice Roberts .....‘What you really fear isn't extremism – it's resistance. Resistance to your project of turning Britain into a deracinated, post-national, post-religious experiment where every identity is celebrated except the one that built the nation.’...... Let's be clear about something else: what you call "Christian nationalism" is, in Britain, nothing more than ordinary citizens asserting that their own history, faith, and culture should not be erased. That is not extremism. It is survival.
You smear fathers, mothers, pensioners and preachers on a stage in Whitehall as if they were plotting some theocratic coup. They weren't. They were saying out loud what millions feel in private – that Britain is a Christian country in heritage and law, and that this heritage should not be sneered at or dismantled by cultural engineers. To brand that conviction as "a threat to us all" tells us more about your own bias than it does about them.
The truth is this: Britain's freedom, its law, its democracy, its very sense of human dignity were all born from the Christian tradition you so casually pathologise. Habeas corpus. Trial by jury. Equality before the law. The idea that every individual has worth. None of these came from "secular humanism." They came from centuries of Christian thought, hammered into institutions by men and women of faith. To denounce that inheritance as dangerous while indulging ideologies that openly call for jihad on our streets is intellectual dishonesty of the highest order....... https://x.com/JChimirie66677/status/1969088949688942969

Can people go on LEWIS BRACKPOOL's X account and give a few words of encouragement....or at least wish him 'Merry Christmas' 🎄🎄 Thanks. 🎄🎄...... ".I’m grateful for the position I’m in. I’m genuinely optimistic that Britain’s pendulum will swing back, and I’m aware that I’m where I’m meant to be.
But if I’m honest, sometimes I struggle with being a journalist.
The hidden reality, is It’s ruined my social life and made dating almost impossible. You’re constantly worried about putting other people in awkward positions, or worse, exposing them to harm because of the hostility of the internet and the nature of this work.
Old friends stop reaching out. Even when you make the effort to plan something, the interest isn’t there anymore. Someone I’d known since I was 12 was nervous to even take a photo with me in case it affected their career. Calls stop getting returned.
It’s a huge sacrifice, one I was naïve about when I first stepped into this. I would never recommend this path to anyone lightly.
The worst part is holding information you know people need to be warned about, while also knowing that releasing it too early could harm others or compromise something bigger. It’s a constant, mind-gnawing tension, and it can wear you down completely.
I don’t have a direction with this post, just jotting down some reflective thoughts as we all wind down for Christmas....." https://x.com/Lewis_Brackpool/status/2002714374188769342
