People need to understand the scale of what is happening in the UK today.

The claims circulating online say that in the year ending June 2024:

• 101,000 Pakistanis arrived in the UK
• 33,000 Bangladeshis arrived
• 108,000 asylum claims were made, with several of the top nationalities being Pakistan, Bangladesh and Somalia

ONS data confirms the overall immigration and asylum numbers are real, and the numbers arriving from those countries are unquestionably high, even if some of the extra details being shared online are not backed by official statistics.

Now compare this to the British Raj.

At its peak, in a territory 34 times larger than the entire UK, the total number of British civilians living in India and Pakistan was between 100,000 and 150,000. That figure includes soldiers, administrators, doctors, missionaries and traders. It represents every Briton in the whole of British ruled India combined.

Think about that in context, given they felt there were so many British, they kicked us out:

In a landmass stretching from the Himalayas to Karachi, nearly a fifth of the planet, the British population never exceeded roughly one tenth of the numbers now entering the UK in a single year.

And today it is Britain, a small island with struggling infrastructure, housing shortages and a collapsing welfare system, that is expected to absorb year after year of unprecedented migration and record asylum claims. These annual numbers are larger than the entire British civilian presence on the Indian subcontinent at any point in history.

Whether people approve of modern immigration or not, the scale is objectively historic.

BBC: Agency refuse workers brought in to cover for Birmingham's long-running bin strike have voted to take industrial action themselves over claims of bullying and harassment.

Unite claimed a growing number of agency staff were refusing to cross the picket lines of striking bin workers due to "unsustainable workloads" and a bullying workplace culture at the council's refuse department.

On Monday, agency staff voted to join official picket lines from 1 December.

Here he is with Basu, a former chief CT officer and a noxious individual with a long history of criticising White majority trends and promoting ethnic grievance politics.

Therefore he's something of a Deep State connected journo. What are they up to, promoting consistent pieces on 'far-Right' youth - building a narrative, an awareness of public threat to give the government more room to act?
