Request How long does something need to be before it hit light speed

This is a question that I didnt know how to do the math for so I thought I'd ask others.

Imagine a rod. the rod rotates 90° at 1 mile per hour, with one end being the point of rotation. So its rotating like a clock hand.

The further away from the point of rotation an object is the faster it has to move because its traveling a farther distance in the same amount of time.

So how long does the rod need to be before its end hits light speed.
