Director James Cameron, known for The Terminator, believes the real threat of AI is not killer robots, but rathed the corporate dominance over advanced general intelligence (AGI) systems, where big tech giants could create AGI that answers only to profit and internal goals.
He says this future could give corporations unprecedented access to personal data, communications, and behavior, shaping a world people never voted for or agreed to.
