So I at first assumed this was from vaping, then whatever covid was happened and I re-thought it, plus it magically stopped being spoken of. Now that we have time for the injectable bioweapon to take hold, we are hearing about this again? Not saying its correlated, but the timing in both instances is quite curious.

No King But Christ: Why Human Rulers Always Fail

When Israel asked for a king, they weren’t just asking for safety or unity — they were rejecting God.
1 Samuel 8 isn't just a political critique — it's a spiritual diagnosis. It shows us what happens when we trade divine kingship for human rule: our sons are drafted, our daughters conscripted, our wealth stolen, and we become slaves.

But there's a second message here too — one that often gets missed.

Even the best kings failed. David sinned. Solomon enslaved. Josiah couldn't save the nation. The monarchy didn’t just bring injustice — it revealed a deeper truth: no human, no matter how well-intentioned, is fit to rule over others as king.

That’s why the failures of Israel’s kings ultimately point to the need for a perfect King — one who doesn’t tax or conscript, but lays down His life for His people.

Jesus is that King.

He shows us what true kingship looks like — and in doing so, exposes the lie that any of us are qualified to wield coercive power over others. The state, with all its pomp and promises, only ever enslaves. But Christ sets us free.
