Our SpamAway federation protects Telegram groups from spam and abuse using multiple bots like @MissRose_bot, Astrakobot, OdinRobot, Sophie Bot, and others.
❗️ Each bot uses its own unique federation ID for SpamAway. That means:
⦁ To join or subscribe with @MissRose_bot, use the MissRose SpamAway federation ID.
⦁ To join or subscribe with Astrakobot or OdinRobot, use their own SpamAway federation IDs.
⦁ The actual ban data and rules stay synced across all bots, but the IDs you enter depend on the bot you’re using.
✨ So, no matter which bot your group uses, banned users remain banned across all groups linked to SpamAway!

1. What is SpamAway Federation?
- A group of Telegram admins working together to ban spammers and toxic users across multiple groups to keep Telegram safe.
2. How does a federation ban (fedban) work?
- When a user is fedbanned, they are banned from all groups connected to the federation. Here’s an easy explanation: (https://t.iss.one/RoseSupportChat/901043).
3. Who can use fedban commands?
- Only federation admins or moderators with fedban rights can issue fedbans.
4. How do I join SpamAway Federation?
- Use the @MissRose_bot command: /joinfed <FedID>.
5. Can I appeal a un-fedban?
- Yes! Join our appeals chat @SpamAwayChat to request a review.
6. Where can I see fedban logs?
- All ban logs are posted in @SpamAwayLogs.
7. How do I report a spammer to the federation?
- Report them to @SpamAwayChat.
8. Can I unban a user from the federation? A person wants to join my chat and they are fedbanned, but I want them in my chat.
- You can’t unban a person on your own without federation admins, but you can approve them using the approve commands so the fedban won’t affect them in your group. Just approve them, then unban them locally.
9. What kinds of users get fedbanned?
- Spammers, scammers, bots, trolls, content thieves, and abusive or toxic users.
10. What if I disagree with a fedban decision?
- Appeal via @SpamAwayChat, and the federation admins will review your case.
11. Does joining SpamAway Federation protect my group from all spam?
- It significantly reduces spam by sharing ban information but cannot guarantee 100% prevention. That’s why I (@whyafk) personally recommend using additional automated tools like Combot and using the bot’s blocklists and lock features to avoid spam in your group.
12. Can I see who banned a user?
- Fedban logs show the admin who issued the ban and the reason.
13. Can a banned user still join other groups?
- Not those linked to the federation; they are banned from all connected groups unless they are approved by the particular chat admins.
14. How many groups can join the federation?
- There’s no strict limit, but admins must manage bans responsibly.
15. Can I subscribe to your federation?
- Yes, you can subscribe via /subfed <FedID> to get additional ban lists.
16. How quickly are bans enforced across all groups?
- Fedbans apply instantly or within a few seconds once issued.
17. What if a banned user changes their username?
- The bot tracks users by unique IDs, so changing usernames won’t help.
18. Can I ban users for reasons other than spam?
- Fedbans are for spam, abuse, and harmful behavior—not for personal disputes or opinions.
19. How do I become a federation admin?
- You must be a trusted local admin and get approval from federation owners.
20. What tools or bots does SpamAway use?
- We use @MissRose_bot and other anti-spam bots integrated with the federation for smooth management.
