The Google Play accepted our appeal and approved the latest build. Smart Launcher 6.6 is now available in open beta on Google Play.

We plan to roll out 6.6 to production soon, after we fix a few known bugs that are still under review.

- New: Choose how many contacts and apps are shown on the Search Panel start screen
- New: Smartspacer integration. If Smartspacer is installed, you can add the Smartspacer panel from the Panel Manager
- New: New label options for folders (on/off, two-line labels, text size)
- New: The drawer scrollbar is now draggable for faster scrolling
- Improved: The Search Panel is now much faster. We removed unnecessary delays and optimized the search process
- New: Haptic feedback for icon gestures
- New: Stacked widgets are now configurable from the widget stack options
- Changed: Google searches no longer force SafeSearch
- Fixed: Drag and drop issues when using “Reverse page order” and “Infinite scroll” at the same time

Just a hotfix. Check the previous changelog to see what changed recently in Smart Launcher.
- Fixed an issue that could prevent adding items to the home screen under certain configurations
- Fixed an issue that could make the Smartspacer panel unavailable even when the app is installed
- Fixed a few Spanish translation issues

It’s been a few weeks since our last beta build.
We’ve been working on a major code reorganization that will make things easier in the future.
This doesn’t mean the next update won’t arrive soon, with some new features and enhancements. 🙂

- Enhanced folders with light-dark styling, preview item count customization, and automatic collapse when only one item remains.
- Improved search behavior, including a fix for incorrect queries sent to the search providers

This update introduces an advanced KLWP integration, along with a few other enhancements.
- The home screen page count now adapts automatically to the KLWP presets in use. No need to manually create extra empty pages!
- Fixed a bug that caused tap delay issues with KLWP.
- Added new dark and light controls for folder icon appearance.
- Widgets are now added with the same elevation, making it easier to reorder overlapping widgets.

We are improving how we manage and develop our codebase across different projects.
This large reorganization will help us reuse more components across apps and deliver improvements faster in the future.

This maintenance update fixes some known issues and brings a few improvements.
- Improved icon cache. This should reduce RAM usage and prevent folder icons from reloading too often
- The Photo widget background is transparent again, so transparent images like PNGs look better
- Increased the maximum icon size to 120dp
- Updated translations

- Fixed a bug that caused the app to crash when closing an article
