LJOTIĆ: GERMANS WILL BE PUNISHED FOR INNOCENTLY SPILLED BLOOD OF JEWS «When we met [in August 1941], Ljotić asked me to read a text that he had typed on the typewriter. It was about six or seven pages long. I sat down and read. It was a memorandum addressed…
D. LJOTIĆ: NEITHER FASCISM NOR HITLERISM!

The founder of ZBOR and the ideological leader of the Serbian Volunteer Corps, Dimitrije Ljotić, in his magazine Otadžbina from 1935 titled "Neither Fascism, nor Hitlerism!" discusses how ZBOR is ideologically neither like fascism nor Hitlerism (National Socialism), disparaging both of these ideologies:

"Both fascism and Hitlerism are based on the purely pagan conceptions of ancient Rome and the ancient Germans. Fascism is the deification of the state. Hitlerism is the deification of the race.

And to see the divinity in the state or race, means not seeing Him where it can be, means, really, to receive an atheistic, non-Christian understanding of the world. We, as Slavs and Christians, cannot stand on such an understanding.

Above the state and above the race, according to our understanding, there are infinitely greater values. Both the state and the race, in our understanding, are worth as much as they bring people closer to those greater values.

According to the opposite understanding, the state or race are absolute standards in this relative world, over which there are no principles, no judgment, no condemnation. Hence it is possible for fascism to proclaim its selfishness as sacred, and Hitlerism its Teutonic rage.

It is understood that from this deep root emerges a whole series of understandings that must separate us Slavs and Christians from fascism and Hitlerism."

A. Hitler: Under no circumstances would anything directed against the Croatian state be supported by Germany

"In this context, Mandić returned to the subject of the Chetniks, whom he again described as scattered Yugoslav troops who had multiplied greatly at the beginning of the war with Russia.

The Führer interjected here that this increase had probably been caused above all by the Italian misrule and disputed the claim that German troops had supported the Chetniks. On the contrary, the Wehrmacht had constantly fought against them. However, it had recruited people who had voluntarily surrendered as so-called volunteers (Hiwis) for the unarmed troops. In some places, only subordinate organs had made agreements with such chetniks who wanted to fight against the communists. Now a major disarmament operation was being carried out against them. Under no circumstances would anything directed against the Croatian state be supported by Germany. Germany was not so foolish as to have fought, shed its blood, for the destruction of the Yugoslav state and the establishment of the Croatian state, and then to undertake something against this Croatian state. The Führer emphatically described the idea of Germany organizing something with the Chetniks as completely false."

A. Hitler: Chetniks, unreliable and treacherous

"For his part, the Führer agreed that mistrust was in order. There were two dangers that had to be fought against, the partisan danger and the danger of landing. The latter would certainly gradually diminish if the difficulties of the British and Americans in Italy continued to intensify as before. At the moment, however, it still existed. The Chetniks would undoubtedly fight against the Communists today, but tomorrow with the English against the Croats and the Germans. For this reason, they should only be employed as auxiliaries, because as an armed local defense force they would fight against the Communists, but not against the English. For this reason, there would be no choice but to disarm all the Chetniks."

There exists a great missconception among some people that 13th Waffen Mountain Division of the SS Handschar (1st Croatian) was innefective and ultimately a failure.

This lie has been propagated by Serbs many times over in an effort to discredit Croats, with them mostly falling back to communist sources, which had great incentives to paint them as inefficient for political reasons, which was regrettably accepted by many historians as a fact in the absence of more objective works.

After actual research was conducted, however, the truth slowly started getting out that Handžar was in actuality a very successful division in what little time it existed. Having successfully conducted at least 9 major operations against Partisans, which left thousands of communists dead and wounded, with the division only collapsing after intense Soviet incursions, at which point the war was basically lost.

ALEXANDER LÖHR'S INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE OPERATION SCHWARZ

Destroy
D.M. Chetniks

1) The objective of Operation Schwarz is the destruction of all insurgents in Montenegro and Eastern Herzegovina, regardless of their affiliation (Communists and D.M. supporters). In particular, Mihailovic's staff, with all its helpers and liaison officers, must be captured and destroyed.

NARA, Micr. No. T-501, ROLL 250, Fr. 000289

Cull the Serbs, spare Sandzak Muslims

The troops are to be instructed to act ruthlessly and with brutal severity against the insurgents and the hostile population, and to deprive the enemy of all means of subsistence by destroying their shelters and abandoned villages and securing existing supplies. Peace-loving sections of the population, especially the Muslims living in the Sandzak, are to be spared and, as far as possible, enlisted in the service of our own cause to destroy the enemy forces.

NARA, Micr. No. T-501, ROLL 250, Fr. 000290

Target Draža Mihailović

7) The deployment of air forces under the command of the Air Force Commander Croatia must be carried out in close cooperation with ground forces operations. Focus should be determined based on how the situation develops. Mihailović's headquarters is the most important target.

MOMČILO ĐUJIĆ, SOLDIER OF DRAŽA AND GREAT DANGER TO GERMAN TROOPS

Instruction of the intelligence department of the 15th Mountain Corps to the 114th Jäger Division, 4.10.1943.

"Based on the description of the situation, the order to arrest Vojvode Djujić and his chief of staff Soskis is revoked. However, the General Command does not share the division's view that this Chetnik group can be considered reliable in the fight against the communist insurgency. There is information from a very reliable source that this particular Chetnik group is heavily influenced by DM (Draža Mihailović), and that Djujić is in constant contact with DM. According to these reports, Djujić has been instructed by DM to continue the fight against the bandits, but at the same time has also been instructed not to stop the fight against the Germans under any circumstances, and above all to carry out sabotage. [...]

It should also be mentioned that Djujić provides DM with detailed reports on the movements of German troops and events in the Dinara area on an almost daily basis. The division is also aware that DM in eastern Bosnia has already moved to open combat against German troops under the command of an English general. It is also certain that the active operations of both large insurgent groups are now being coordinated by the English generals who have arrived at both headquarters. The transfer of security tasks to the Chetniks therefore poses a great danger to German troops. "

ZBOR MEMBER SHOT BY GERMANS, VOLUNTEER HOUSES BURNT AND THEIR FATHERS KILLED

"For the 23 Germans killed in these battles, one of the most ferocious came retribution according to the key for one killed German, a hundred Serbian heads. In Kraljevo on October 19 and 20, 1941, over 2,300 Serbs were shot.In this disaster died innocent citizens of Kraljevo, and especially many railwaymen and workers from wagon and airplane factories. Among those shot were a considerable number of refugees who had just escaped death from the Ustasha. In this retaliation, about 200 former members Ljotić's movement "ZBOR" were shot, including the following: Milosav Jovčić, professor, Ignjatije Podregin, professor, Mileta Radošević, T. Miljković, M. Ilić, Dragoslav Vuksanović, Miljko Nikolić, Branislav Gligorijević, Jezdimir Marković, V. Radonić, Jovica Novaković (parliamentary candidate for "ZBOR"), Milojko Simeunović, M. Kostić and others. On this occasion, the Germans set fire to several houses and members of volunteer detachments such as Branislav and Aleksandar Kostić whose father was shot on that occasion. So the Germans shot their 23 dead soldiers in Kraljevo via 2300 Serbs or every third inhabitant of this small town. This is really the bloodiest German revenge in Serbia during the occupation."

-Boško N. Kostić, personal secretary of Dimitrije Ljotić

Za istoriju naših dana, "Nova Iskra" , New Belgrade, 1949, pp. 48-49

Clearly since Germans intended to expand Nedić's Empire, for the good of Serbian people they first needed to cut down on overpopulation to not overwhelm Nedić apparatus.

The danger of nationalism due to the re-establishment of a greedy Serbia must be viewed as serious; 3.) this state of crisis was caused by the Italian attempt to play one insurgent party [Chetniks] off against the other [Partisans]; and 4.) close cooperation exists between the British and the insurgents, as the letter handed over by the Führer and the letter from Ward Price show. Italy has the greatest interest in annihilating all Greater Serbian tendencies.

ĐURIŠIĆ'S ATTITUDE TOWARDS GERMANS

"In accordance with the actions of the Chetnik leaders Bacevic, Lukacevic, and Ostojic, you can observe a hostile attitude towards the German people in Durišić. Parts of his units are already fighting against our troops in the Podgorica Danilovgrad region. After various reports (anti-German propaganda; willingness to participate in the actions of the Chetnik leaders Bacevic, Lukacevic, and Ostojic; establishing contact with fascist groups in Montenegro to entice them to defect to the Chetniks; terror against political opponents, who cooperate with us and form the government), this attitude of Djurisic had been expected for some time. This change is based on the fundamental tendency of all Chetnik leaders to side with the side where the chances of success are most favorable. It can be assumed that the development of the general political and military situation is significantly influenced by allied influence (especially from the American side) and promises. Although Đurisic is personally opposed to Lukacevic, Đurisic intends to come to the aid of Lukacevic, who suffered heavy losses [Against Germans] in Trebinje region, with parts of his units. Djurisic has secured cover through an agreement with national Albanians, allowing him to retreat to Albanian territory.

NEUBACHER'S MEMOIRS ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH NEDIĆ IN 1945 ACCORDING TO INTERROGATION DOCUMENTS

"Early in 1945, Nedić sent Neubacher a memorandum, a confused and contradictory document which had been composed by the old men in his cabinet. The note expressed refusal on part of the government to collaborate further in view of the tragic situation of the Serbian people. (...)

NEUBACHER points out that he did not forward the document to his superior authorities, as he should have done, because he himself realized the hopelessness of the German position and therefore considered it unfair and impolitic to expose NEDIĆ unnecessarily under those circumstances. On the other hand, Neubacher lost all respect for Nedić as a politician after he had read the memorandum."

You know when Serb try to convince you that Nazi Germany was against the massacres of Serbs Independent State of Croatia? Or how the Germans were appalled by the massacres of Serbs by the Ustasha regime? In the 4 meetings that Hitler had with Pavelić, Hitler always gave support to the Ustasha regime and cursed the Serbs, both "national" and communist ones. Examples are already posted on this channel. Hitler's opinion such as:

"Promotion of the Chetniks seemed dangerous, as these Serbian nationalists ultimately represented the Greater Serbian idea. They were growing a snake which, even if it was still small now, could one day become dangerous." [1]

"Serbs are oppositional out of habit and eternal conspirators." [2]

Mentioning again Chetnik treachery. [3]

And not only with Pavelić but also with other Croatian ministers like the meeting between Hitler and the Croatian Prime Minister Mandić. Where Hitler stated:

"Wehrmacht had constantly fought against Chetniks. (...) Under no circumstances would anything directed against the Croatian state be supported by Germany." [4]

Still believe that Hitler liked Serbs and was against their destruction?
