NEUBACHER'S MEMOIRS ABOUT HIS RELATIONSHIP WITH NEDIĆ IN 1945 ACCORDING TO INTERROGATION DOCUMENTS

"Early in 1945, Nedić sent Neubacher a memorandum, a confused and contradictory document which had been composed by the old men in his cabinet. The note expressed refusal on part of the government to collaborate further in view of the tragic situation of the Serbian people. (...)

NEUBACHER points out that he did not forward the document to his superior authorities, as he should have done, because he himself realized the hopelessness of the German position and therefore considered it unfair and impolitic to expose NEDIĆ unnecessarily under those circumstances. On the other hand, Neubacher lost all respect for Nedić as a politician after he had read the memorandum."

You know when Serb try to convince you that Nazi Germany was against the massacres of Serbs Independent State of Croatia? Or how the Germans were appalled by the massacres of Serbs by the Ustasha regime? In the 4 meetings that Hitler had with Pavelić, Hitler always gave support to the Ustasha regime and cursed the Serbs, both "national" and communist ones. Examples are already posted on this channel. Hitler's opinion such as:

"Promotion of the Chetniks seemed dangerous, as these Serbian nationalists ultimately represented the Greater Serbian idea. They were growing a snake which, even if it was still small now, could one day become dangerous." [1]

"Serbs are oppositional out of habit and eternal conspirators." [2]

Mentioning again Chetnik treachery. [3]

And not only with Pavelić but also with other Croatian ministers like the meeting between Hitler and the Croatian Prime Minister Mandić. Where Hitler stated:

"Wehrmacht had constantly fought against Chetniks. (...) Under no circumstances would anything directed against the Croatian state be supported by Germany." [4]

Still believe that Hitler liked Serbs and was against their destruction?

ALLIED-CHETNIK CONNECTIONS: CHETNIKS STOLE AMERICAN SOAP

The first topic raised by Armstrong at each meeting was, "Where is my kit? What is the matter with your discipline?" One day, Armstrong's soap was stolen by a Chetnik and, to Bailey's embarrassment, at that morning's staff meeting Armstrong insisted that Mihailović should look into the matter of the lost soap. Mihailović sent his batman to get his knapsack and took out a piece of soap which Bailey had actually given him. He handed it to Armstrong. Armstrong said, "Thank you," putting the soap in his pocket, but added: "This does not put an end to the matter and the question of discipline."

Our enemies in the East and Southeast: the Bolsheviks, (...) and Serbs although they partially consider themselves members of the white race, are by no means members of our Western European culture. Behind the facade of white civilization stands their immeasurable Asianism, which regards hatred as a weapon, which prefers destruction to construction and wants to destroy everything that is Western and culturally developed.

ZBOR: SUPPORTERS OF ZIONISM

The translation of the program of the Ljotić's ZBOR (Yugoslav National Movement ZBOR, political foundation of Serbian Volunteer Corps), dated 1936, noted by NSDAP journalist Rudolf Freiherr von Maltzahn, contains the following points, of which the most interesting are the 3rd and 4th.

"3) On the question of minorities.

Our ethnic minorities will be able to develop freely in terms of culture, language, and religion. We will guarantee them all these rights, but we will not allow them to organize politically. In a corporative state, they would be represented in all bodies in accordance with their national key.

4) On the Jewish question.

We will tolerate the Jewish religion. However, only the Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches will receive state support and assistance. We are supporters of Zionism. We will prevent any assimilation of Jews and will not allow Jews to play a role in public life in Yugoslavia or in the leadership of the state. However, we will recognize baptism, taking into account a certain period of time during which these baptized Jews largely assimilated into the Yugoslav people in the past. We only have 80,000 Jews. However, we will recognize baptism, taking into account a certain period of time during which these baptized Jews have largely adapted to the Yugoslav people in the past. We only have 80,000 Jews in Yugoslavia and we cannot go as far as Adolf Hitler in Germany."

— Gedächtnisprotokoll vom 22. April 1936 und Übersetzung des Programms der Jugoslawischen Volksbewegung ZBOR, BArch NS 10/223, pp 369, 371

Interestingly enough, similar philosemitic remarks were made by Ljotić himself and noted in ZBOR's official magazine "Otadžbina".

Chetniks: Anti-Partisan but not Anti-Communist!

CHETNIK-SOVIET COLLABORATION

"Undoubtedly, the Chetniks—or at least a significant portion of them—sought to support the Red Army, thereby securing a place in the future Yugoslavia. In the reconnaissance unit of the 98th Rifle Division, I found four Germans and a downed American airman. They had been handed over by the Chetniks. A week earlier, Captain Rakovich's corps had intervened in our battalion's battle with the surrounding Germans and effectively saved the battalion from destruction. For several days, the operations and intelligence departments of the division headquarters maintained contact with the Chetnik headquarters, receiving reports from them. The partisans reacted to this with fierce protests. Once, when two Chetnik officers came to see the commander of the 93rd Division, Colonel Salychev, the lieutenant colonel who was present at the meeting, the commander of the 23rd Partisan Division, shot both of them point-blank, without explanation, amid the silent disapproval of our headquarters. Once, the Chetniks were escorting 300 German prisoners to our scouts. A partisan ambush opened fire on both the Germans and the escort. The guards scattered, and the Germans also disappeared into the mountains.
The attitude of our people (the 93rd Division) towards the Chetniks was surprisingly kind-hearted. The battalion commanders rightly believed that with only sixty active bayonets in the battalion, they should accept help from anyone — and they did. The general attitude toward partisan reprisals was disapproving, although everyone vaguely understood that this was also the line taken by our higher authorities. Soon, instructions arrived from the Military Council. Left without attention, Rakovich's Chetniks thought it over and left for the south to the British who had landed in Greece.
A special, purely Serbian, Orthodox Russophilia was extremely widespread among the Chetnik lower classes. For them, the nationalists, orientation towards co-religious Russia seemed more natural than love for the overseas Anglo-Saxons. It is unlikely that Draža would have been able to turn his army against us. In official documents, he expressed solidarity with the Red Army. I was given a proclamation signed by the Chetnik commander of Bela Crkva, a notorious hangman. It placed the “army” under the command of the Red Army in connection with its approach. This was followed by slogans such as “Long live the king!” and “Long live the USSR!”
The partisan command was eager to slander the Chetniks as much as possible, especially in terms of their attitude towards Russia."

ZBOR: HITLER AND MUSSOLINI JUDEO-BOLSHEVIK AGENTS

In the "Bilten", the official magazine of the Ljotić's ZBOR (the party that is the ideological foundation of the Serbian Volunteer Corps) in 1939, claims were made that Hitler and Mussolini were unscrupulous agents of Judeo-Bolshevism.

"Ideological practices do not bother them at all: the Jews managed to make their greatest opponent, Hitler, an unconscious agent of their great world politics, as we have repeatedly said and proved.

And: Germany has put its fingers into this internal game. For the sake of its further goals in the Balkans and for the sake of keeping its iron in the fire, it has already started this spring to help Croatia's Pavelić organization. Germany let Dr. Jelić, "Deputy Poglavnik of Croatia" to escape from Germany. He went one day to America. It is clear that Dr. Jelić could not have left without the knowledge of Germany, if he had more direct evidence of German assistance to Jelić's mission. And the negotiations for the large purchase of weapons for the Croatian defense in Germany come into this work of things."

Bilten, No. 32; November 22, 1939; p. 13

"The Soviet Union has no territorial claims. (...) Therefore, from its point of view it is not decisive whether Germany will occupy Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, Yugoslavia or Hungary. On the contrary, from their point of view it is very good that Germany does so, because it brings closer the hour of the world conflict that the Soviet Union is waiting for and which - if it does not participate in it with large military masses - must lead to a Bolshevik revolution in Europe. That is why we were previously forced (in Bilten Nos. 10 and 11) to call Mussolini and Hitler unconscious Jewish-Bolshevik agents. And we stick to that statement."

Bilten, No. 14; May 29, 1939; p. 3

In 1930s Serbs were accusing Hitler and Mussolini of being Jewish agents, today they accuse Ustashe of the same thing. Nice to see that things haven't changed for Serbian ZBOR larp scene.

LJOTIĆ'S RESPONSE TO THE NOVI SAD ZIONIST NEWSPAPER

"Through the Novi Sad Zionist newspaper "Malchut Yisrael", Dr. J. Dohanj sent an open letter to my address on July 10th of this year, asking me to answer whether I agree with the attacks of our newspaper "Ervahe" from Petrograd on the Jews. I was late in answering. I was on the road, and other very urgent matters prevented me from doing so. But the things we will talk about are not temporary: this is a Jewish question. The answer will, therefore, always arrive on time. Here is that answer: Right at the beginning, Mr. Dr. Dohanj says that other nations are not responsible for the mistakes of their members. Other nations may have "penalties, concentration camps, reformatories" and no smart person takes individual errant representatives of that nation as a measure for that nation. While "with us, Jews, in bad times of other nations", says Mr. Dr. Dohanj, "each individual stray Jew is called the "representative" of all Jewry". Among other "happy peoples who sit on their own chests, life flows peacefully and dignifiedly like a river in its bed. From afar, only a wide and large river is visible", while among the Jews "you cannot see a river flowing majestically in its bed, only countless tiny waves are visible". We must put things in their place, and therefore I must make the necessary correction to this original thought of Dr. Dohanj. It is completely wrong to claim that the essence of the Jewish question is that all Jewry is blamed for the mistakes of isolated and exceptional individuals. On the contrary, judging by individuals, Judaism could even fare better than other nations. I know a considerable number of Jews. I have had various business relationships with them. In my conscience, I cannot say that I found a greater number of bad people among them than among other nations and religions. I have met with pleasure such upright and good people among the Jews, whom other nations also have in their ranks and want to increase their numbers."
