अभी मत छेड़ो सन्नाटे को,
अभी ख़ामोशी बोल रही है,
हर धड़कन में एक कहानी
धीरे-धीरे खोल रही है।
मैं कह दूँगी सब कुछ एक दिन
जो कहा नहीं, जो सहा नहीं,
जो आँखों ने चुपचाप ओढ़ा
और लफ़्ज़ों ने कभी कहा नहीं।
पर आज नहीं…
आज बस चलने दो साँसों को,
दिल को थोड़ा संभलने दो,
ये जो बिखरी-बिखरी सी हूँ
इसे पहले खुद में ढलने दो।
मैं सीख गयी हूँ मुस्कुराना
हर टूटन को छुपाना ।
इसलिए रख छोड़ा है
हर सवाल, हर जवाब,
एक बंद दराज़ में
नाम दिया है-बाद में।
कभी फुरसत मिलेगी खुद से,
कभी हिम्मत भी आएगी,
तब ये चुप्पी टूटेगी शायद,
तब आवाज़ बन जाएगी।
आज तो बस निभा रही हूँ
जो दुनिया ने थमाया है,
दिल को फिर समझा लिया
सब ठीक है…
बाकी बाद में।
