A consortium led by DFO Management and Lux Capital-backed Sequence Holdings agreed to a $7.7 billion take-private deal for The Baldwin Group, an insurance broker.

The Carlyle Group agreed to acquire Canada-based oil and gas company Parallax from Carnelian Energy Capital.

Main Capital Partners agreed to acquire the operating subsidiaries of Tribal Group, a UK education software and student information systems provider listed on London’s AIM, in a take-private transaction.

Aurelius agreed to purchase Hain International, a UK-based healthy food and beverage business, from Nasdaq-listed The Hain Celestial Group.
