My old concept of how iOS 26 could look like. Made before it was announced.
Pretty similar to the reality.

Redesign of 🏷 Tonnel Marketplace
Reimagined filters, a cleaner look, and new layout — buttons are easier to reach, features are right where they should be, and wishlists help you save gifts you love. With beautiful Solar icons. The release date is unknown.

Redesign of ✈️ Telegram iOS
The concept of telegram profiles in the new iOS 26 design.
Made exactly like Apple did, it meant to look like that.
The concept of telegram profiles in the new iOS 26 design.
Made exactly like Apple did, it meant to look like that.
The problem is, we’re unlikely to ever see a design like this. Telegram’s current codebase still drags along legacy clutter dating all the way back to the iOS 12 era.
While the app may appear modern on iOS ≤18, nearly all of its widgets and components are custom-built from scratch—even though native versions have been available in the standard libraries since iOS 13+. Instead of using modern frameworks and writing clean code, the developers continue maintaining countless custom UI implementations on an outdated stack—just to ensure the messenger runs even on the oldest devices.
Under current conditions, introducing a new design system is virtually impossible. Rebuilding all the Liquid Glass widgets from the ground up would come with a serious performance hit.
A similar situation exists on Android: despite the overall polished appearance (if you ignore the lack of Material V3), most of the UI is also manually implemented and doesn’t rely on Google’s official frameworks.
Frankly, Telegram has long needed a complete rewrite—both on Android and iOS. Their obsession with maximum backward compatibility has turned the messenger’s codebase into a nightmare to read and maintain.
