🇷🇺🇮🇳 On November 22, New Delhi hosted the 22nd Meeting of the Working Group on Military-Technical Cooperation and Defence Industry under the Russian-Indian Intergovernmental Commission on Military and Military-Technical Cooperation.

👥 It was co-chaired by Andrey Boytsov, First Deputy Director of the Russian Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, and Sanjeev Kumar, Secretary (DP), Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.

🤝 The parties assessed the current projects implemented between Russia and India, and discussed the prospects for expanding bilateral military and military-technical partnership, with an emphasis on strengthening industrial cooperation in new technologies as well as in the joint development and production.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On November 25, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Agra hosted the inauguration of a 10-day Russian language course.

📚 As part of the educational programme, Indian students of Russian studies under the guidance of Yulia Aleshkina will have the opportunity to improve their proficiency of the Russian language as well as expand their knowledge of Russia.

🇷🇺 On November 26, Minister of Science and Higher Education of Russia Valery Falkov held the 2nd ceremony of conferring the title "Ambassador of Russian Education and Science".

👥 Chairman of the consortium council for the programme, President of the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) Vladimir Filippov took part in the event.

🟣The mission of the "ambassadors" is to promote Russian education and science at leading international venues. Among the awardees are government and public figures, graduates of Russian and Soviet universities who have achieved outstanding success in their professional activities.

🇮🇳 A long-time friend of Russia, Vice Chancellor of the Girijananda Chowdhury University in Guwahati Prof. Kandarpa Das became the Ambassador of Russian Education and Science in India.

➡️ The honorary title was also awarded to 12 citizens of Burkina Faso, Vietnam, Guinea, Egypt, Indonesia, DR Congo, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Mozambique, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Ecuador.
