👥 Chairman of the consortium council for the programme, President of the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) Vladimir Filippov took part in the event.

🟣The mission of the "ambassadors" is to promote Russian education and science at leading international venues. Among the awardees are government and public figures, graduates of Russian and Soviet universities who have achieved outstanding success in their professional activities.

🇮🇳 A long-time friend of Russia, Vice Chancellor of the Girijananda Chowdhury University in Guwahati Prof. Kandarpa Das became the Ambassador of Russian Education and Science in India.

➡️ The honorary title was also awarded to 12 citizens of Burkina Faso, Vietnam, Guinea, Egypt, Indonesia, DR Congo, Kyrgyzstan, Mali, Mozambique, Mongolia, Sri Lanka and Ecuador.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On November 25, public activists from Perm visited Jaipur as part of the preparation of the Russian-Indian student photo exhibition "How I See My City".

🤝 During their stay, they were received by Mayor of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Heritage) Kusum Yadav and Mayor of the Jaipur Municipal Corporation (Greater) Somya Gurjar. The parties noted the high importance of the upcoming event, discussed the prospects for expanding cooperation, in particular, a number of events were planned to attract more authors to participate in the photo exhibition.

📝 As part of the event chaired by the CCTT Secretariat and the Federation of Freight Forwarders' Associations in India, Russian representatives delivered addresses underscoring the need to consolidate efforts to develop the International North-South Transport Corridor.

💬 The meeting of the Council was attended by leading logistics companies from Russia, India, Asian and European countries, relevant government agencies, and port authorities, who summed up the work on the development of transport infrastructure across the Eurasian continent.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On December 3, the National School of Drama in New Delhi hosted the premiere of the play "The Threepenny Opera" by German playwright Bertolt Brecht staged by Russian director, teacher of the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) Natalia Shurganova.

🎭 The performance, the rehearsal preparation for which took a month and a half, included vocal parts and choreographic numbers.

👏 The three-act play was warmly received by the local public, and the Indian actors were greeted with a loud ovation from the audience.

📝 In a video address to the participants, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov underscored that amid the turbulent geopolitical circumstances the strengthening of Russian-Indian coordination on security issues both bilaterally and multilaterally is of particular importance. He accentuated the high demand for expanded dialogue between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries with a view to ensuring a timely response to new challenges.
