🇷🇺🇮🇳 On December 26, a signing of an agreement of cooperation between the N.N.Petrov National Medicine Research Center of Oncology (NMRC of Oncology) and the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) took place.

🟣 The initiative was implemented with the support of the Russian Honorary Consulate in Trivandrum.

🤝 The agreement envisaging joint research as well as faculty and students exchanges was signed online by Prof Alexei Belyaev, Director of the NMRC of Oncology, and Prof Mohanan Kunnummal, Vice Chancellor of the KUHS.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On January 8, in Noida, Russia's Trade Representative in India Alexander Rybas took part in the grand opening of Asia's Premier Food & Beverage Trade Show "IndusFood 2025".

🟣 The ceremony was attended by India's Minister of Food Processing Industries Chirag Paswan, Chairman of the Trade Promotion Council of India Mohit Singla and Chairman of the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority Abhishek Dev.

🤝 On the sidelines of the event, Alexander Rybas held meetings with representatives of Russian and Indian business circles as well as consultations for them on entering the markets of Russia and India. Russian companies expressed interest in supplying seafood, in particular fish, to the Indian market.

👥 It is expected that more than 80,000 participants from 60 countries will visit the three-day exhibition, and over 20 national pavilions, including Russian, will be presented to guests' attention.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On January 10, representatives of the Russian Embassy in India took part in a round table discussion at the Russian House in New Delhi dedicated to the upcoming religious festival Maha Kumbh Mela 2025.

💬 The opening address was delivered by Member of the Indian Parliament Dinesh Sharma, who noted the importance of developing cultural and religious ties between Russia and India.

👥 Among those who attended the event were Indian historians, journalists and religious figures.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On January 12, on the National Youth Day of India coincided with the birthday of the Indian philosopher and public figure Swami Vivekananda, diplomats of the Russian Embassy in India took part in the conference "India-Russia Youth Dialogue".

🟣 The event was organized by India's National Preparatory Committee for the World Youth Festival jointly with the NSS NSUT Cell.

👥 More than 500 representatives of the two countries joined the dialogue in person and online, including Acting Deputy Prime Minister of the Government — Minister of Sports of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ruslan Khabibov, Head of the International Department of the Organizing Committee of the World Youth Festival in Sochi Yulia Motyakina, Programme Coordinator, NSS NSUT Cell, Dr Praveen Saroha, State Head, NPC Delhi, Anuj Phalswal and other officials.

🤝 In their addresses, the speakers underscored the long-standing friendly nature of Russia-India ties, as well as expressed their readiness to promote the development of youth contacts, academic and scientific exchanges.

🟣 The festival's programme included a seminar highlighting Russian literature, an announcement of free Russian language online classes, an exhibition of paintings by Russian artist Larisa Prasolova, screenings of Russian films, and a live painting session by artists from North Kerala.

👥 The event jointly organized by the Russian House in Trivandrum and the Kerala School of Arts was inaugurated by Vice Chairman of Thalassery Municipality M.V.Jayarajan.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 A delegation of cadets from Russia arrived in India for an international meeting on the occasion of the Republic Day celebrated on January 26.

👥 It is attended by representatives of 18 countries, while Russia is represented by 10 students of the Kyzyl Presidential Cadet School of the Ministry of Defence.

🟣 The programme of the event includes meetings with representatives of India's Defence Ministry, acquaintance of guests with the main sights of Delhi and Agra, including Taj Mahal, visits to museums, yoga classes.

🤝 The trip will last till January 30. The first such tour took place in January 2023, after which students of India's National Cadet Corps visited Russia.

🖼 It was inaugurated by Minister for Public Works and Tourism of Kerala P.A.Mohammed Riyas who noted that such cultural events contributed to promoting tourism.

👉🏻 In his welcoming remarks, Honorary Consul of Russia in Trivandrum Ratheesh C Nair underscored that more similar exhibitions were planned as part of the 100th anniversary of People's Diplomacy.
