🇷🇺🇮🇳 Military delegation of Republic of India pays tribute to memory of Russian soldiers near Tomb of Unknown Soldier in Alexander Garden

Minister of Defence of the Republic of India Rajnath Singh, who is visiting Moscow, led the military delegation to honour the memory of Russian soldiers near the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in the Alexander Garden.

The wreath-laying ceremony was led by Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces General of the Army Oleg Salyukov.

Traditionally, during the commemorative events, a minute of silence was observed accompanied by the beats of a metronome, after which the military orchestra performed the national anthem of the Republic of India, symbolising the solidarity of the Indian people with the memory of the fallen heroes.

The ceremony concluded with the marching of a parade crew of the 154th Preobrazhensky Independent Commandant's Regiment under the State Flag of the Russian Federation and flags of the branches of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.

🇷🇺🇮🇳 On December 9, Minister Counsellor & DCM of the Russian Embassy in India Roman Babushkin had a meeting with Russian participants of the 11th National Abilympics Competitions in India.

🤝 During the lively discussion, they underscored the importance of increased contacts in this area with a view to expanding support for people with disabilities and enriching the dynamically developing Russian-Indian humanitarian ties.
