🇷🇺🇮🇳 On December 9, the Rashtriya Raksha University in Gandhinagar hosted an international symposium themed "India-Russia Bilateral Relations: A Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership" with the support of the Russian Embassy and the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India.

📝 In a video address to the participants, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov underscored that amid the turbulent geopolitical circumstances the strengthening of Russian-Indian coordination on security issues both bilaterally and multilaterally is of particular importance. He accentuated the high demand for expanded dialogue between the law enforcement agencies of the two countries with a view to ensuring a timely response to new challenges.

👥 The forum was attended by Consul General of Russia in Mumbai Ivan Fetisov, Representative of Rossotrudnichestvo in India Elena Remizova, Representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in India Pavel Khalashnyuk, as well as Representative of the Federal Customs Service of Russia in India Igor Ten and official of the Trade Representation of Russia in India Andrey Podchufarov (both in an online format).

🤝 The discussions examined in detail the current state and prospects of Russian-Indian cooperation in key sectors, including in security, trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation.

🤝 The representatives of the universities noted the fruitful cooperation underscoring that the programme in India is being held for the second year in a row.

🎓 Head of the Department of Strategic Communications of the Pushkin Institute Andrey Klenin introduced the guests of the event to the opportunities for obtaining higher education in Russia.

➡️ As part of their mission, the volunteers held several interactive classes and master classes with schoolchildren and students studying the Russian language.
