🇷🇺🏅 In 2025, the Russian Geographical Society holds the next edition of the National Award "Crystal Compass" presented for projects in geography, ecology, preservation and popularization of natural and historical-cultural heritage that were implemented in 2024.

👥 Russian and foreign public organizations, scientific and educational institutions, creative unions, enterprises of various fields, as well as independent initiative groups, public figures and individuals can take part in the contest.

1️⃣1️⃣ There are 11 nominations: "Scientific Achievement", "Enlightenment", "Travel and Expedition", "Best Media Project", "Photographic Work" and others.

🔹 Since the first edition of the Award in 2012, over four thousand projects from almost 50 countries and all regions of Russia have been submitted for competition.

❗️ In 2025, the contest will be held in several stages, the first of which — the acceptance of applications — is open till February 20. The award ceremony will take place in May.
