#OnThisDay on August 18, 1958, Aeroflot completed its first flight on the Moscow — Delhi — Moscow route using the Russian Tu-104 aircraft. This historic event marked the beginning of air communication between the USSR and India, the first country in Southeast Asia with which regular flights were established.

📰Good news: Aeroflot announced to relaunch flights on the Yekaterinburg — Goa route.

- 📅 Flights start: October 2, 2024
- 🗓️ Flight frequency: 3 times a week (Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday)

✈️ 🇮🇳 On October 2, Aeroflot – Russian Airlines resumed scheduled flights from Moscow and Yekaterinburg to Goa, India.

💬 They will be directed to the new Manohar International Airport (GOX) in Goa. Flights are scheduled twice a week from Moscow, and three times a week – from Yekaterinburg.

📍 Manohar Airport, which started operations in January 2023, is located in North Goa, 35 km from Panaji.
