Certain politicians in the West attempt to score political points & avoid responsibility by putting the blame for soaring energy prices, food security issues and even inflation on Russia 🤷♂️
Fact: Western sanctions & poor economic policies are among the root causes for the crisis.

❌ Myth: Russia is using energy supplies for political purposes.
✅ Faсts: It is the EU which, by imposing or planning to impose further unilateral sanctions against Russian energy supplies, is politicizing the energy sphere, attempting to use interdependences between energy consumers and suppliers as an instrument of political pressure, while damaging its own economy and the well-being of its citizens and aggravating what is already a precarious situation in the global energy markets.
Unfounded allegations that Moscow is using energy supplies for political aims are part and parcel of the fact-twisting information warfare unleashed by the EU and the US, the latter seeking to increase its LNG exports to the EU.

❌ Myth: The Russian operation in Ukraine has led to a significant drop in food, animal feed and fertiliser availability, price increases for food, energy and fertilisers, and has aggravated global food insecurity.
✅ Fact: Russia is not at fault for the current food security crisis. A sharp increase in prices on the commodities and raw materials markets began as early as 2020, causing concern in the EU even then, – long before current events. The reason lies in the EU’s own errors in of its macroeconomic, energy, climate and food policies in recent years.
In trying to rebuild the world system of economic relations to its own advantage and impose its own rules, the EU fell into a trap created by its own ambitions. Under the circumstances, the West used Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine and Donbas as an excuse to conceal its own mistakes from the world public and its own citizens. In reality, a bad situation was made worse by the reckless anti-Russia sanctions.

❌ Myth: The dire economic situation was caused by the pandemic and Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine and Donbas.
✅ Fact: The EU avoids any mention of the need to ensure an uninterrupted supply of Russian agricultural products to international markets (which is being obstructed by the West’s sanctions).
Brussels continues to differentiate between “good” and “bad” food based on whether its origin is “democratic” or not. The EU stubbornly opposes agricultural exports from Crimea.
Besides that, they are deliberately undermining the preparations for the next sowing campaign both in the republics and the liberated areas of Ukraine.

❌ Myth: EU sanctions do not disturb trade in the world, because European bureaucrats only take decisions that do not affect third countries.
✅ Fact: So much uncertainty displayed by a top-ranking European bureaucrat in so sensitive an issue should put both European taxpayers and the EU’s partners in third countries on guard.
“Sanctions that affect the EU countries alone” proved enough to generate elements of total unpredictability in our foreign partners’ behavior towards Russian companies that are even formally unaffected by the restrictions. The general deterioration in the conditions of interaction with European financial institutions is now part of the routine.

💬 According to President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen, “Russia, which uses disinformation to blame others for its despicable actions, is depriving vital access to food the most vulnerable countries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia”.
🧮 However, basic math is hardly an element of “the Russian propaganda”.
🌾 So far, 13,7 million metric tons of foodstuffs (43% of which is corn for cattle feed) has been shipped from Ukraine under the “Black Sea Initiative”.
📈 32,2% of that amount, went just to the top three consumers among the high-income States (UN classification): Spain, Italy and the Netherlands.
📉Only 18,2% of foodstuffs went to the lower-middle/low-income States: Egypt, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Tunisia, Ethiopia, Algeria, Yemen, Iran, Vietnam, Kenya, Afghanistan, Lebanon, Sudan, Pakistan, Somalia, Iraq, Morocco and Djibouti.
❌ In other words, when you are being told that Ukraine is trying to “save the world from hunger” – it’s not. It’s just another MSM lie.

🎬 Maidan: Road to War. The story behind Maidan - an RT Doc Film.
Synopsis: The film presents events that took place from 2014 to 2022, as The Donetsk People's Republic and The Lugansk People's Republic were subjected to the Kiev regime's reign of terror and shelling on daily basis. "Maidan: Road to War" delves into the 2014 situation in Ukraine and pieces together the course of events. The film wants to draw the attention of the international community to the shelling and the deaths of civilians in the Donbass.
Maidan movement gained momentum in Kiev in 2013. Protests were prompted by the government’s decision to suspend the signing of the association agreement with the European Union. At first, the protests looked like a rock festival, but soon signs of hostility started to creep in from politicians and nationalists.
The protests were deliberately provocative from outside of Ukraine, namely - the US and the EU. Leaders of nationalist organisations admit they have been preparing for violent street riots long before the protests engulfed Kiev, as well as confirmed that they planned a revolution and the deposition of the government from the start.
Against the backdrop of the Western disinformation and attempts to rewrite history we refresh the true sequence of events and facts.

⚡️ Following the collapse of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War the USA and its NATO allies began actively working with former Soviet republics in order to shape them for their own neocolonial purposes.
Ukraine has always received special attention from the Western states in the post-Soviet space as it was the most developed republic, one with strong industrial, agricultural and scientific potential and extremely close ties with Russia. The goal was to seize its market, reshape the economy, making it ever-dependent on the West.
To this end, the USA and the EU, by hand of obedient Ukrainian elites, were methodically destroying the country's basis, severing the economic, trade and cultural ties with Russia.
❗️ In the early 2000s, the so-called 'collective West' inspired the Orange Revolution of 2004 that aimed at distancing Ukraine from Russia and integrating it into the Euro-Atlantic institutions came to power in Kiev.
The blatant interference of the West in the internal affairs triggered a deep political crisis in Ukraine that became irreversible and led to the unconstitutional coup d'etat in 2014.
This event led to a sharp polarization of the Ukrainian society, which predetermined an armed civil conflict. The new 'authorities' launched the so called "anti-terrorist operation" to suppress protests in Donbass by force.
☝️ As a result, Ukrainian armed forces have been shelling Donbass for all these years. This forced Russia to intervene in the situation by launching a special military operation.
The actions of the West within the framework of the large-scale "hybrid war" confirm the global nature of the confrontation in Ukraine. Military and financial assistance is being provided to the Kiev regime, and the range of 'deliveries' at the taxpayers' expense is constantly increasing.
👉 Ukraine is a mere instrument in the hands of the United States and its NATO allies, whose long-term goal is to to break the security architecture in the post-Soviet space and Eurasia as a whole.

🎬 Russian Cultural Code: Art — an educational documentary
For centuries, the Western world has been trying to solve the mystery of the Russian soul. Today, in the Digital Age, is has acquired a new name — the Russian cultural code.
In this film (developed by the School of Arina Sharapova, TV presenter, Deputy Chairman of the Public Chamber), music, graphic art and architecture will become a key to the Russian code. Unlike literature, theatre and cinema, these arts require no translation.
Contemporary art often reflects a response to changes in society and through art we can trace how Russian culture adapts to technological progress.
Young musicians and students were invited to take part in the discussion with artist Alexei Belyayev-Gintovt who has created paintings and installations dedicated to Russia’s special role in the world.

The West has been trying to solve the mystery of the Russian soul for centuries. In this digital age, this mystery has been given a new name – the Russian cultural code.
In this film (developed by the School of Arina Sharapova, TV presenter, Deputy Chairman of the Public Chamber), the key to the Russian cultural code lies in our traditional life and values, which have been shaped by the thousand-year-long history of our multi-ethnic and multifaith country and its unique geopolitics.
The study of traditions in the context of the cultural code allows to better understand the roots of Russian culture and how they blend with the present.
History and political science students from Moscow State University and the Higher School of Economics, future diplomats from MGIMO University, and Combat Brotherhood volunteers from various Russian universities discussed the matter at hand.
