🎭 On September 20-22, an Indian adaptation of Russian playwright Alexei Arbuzov's "Old World" was presented at the Delhi Theatre Festival.

🇮🇳 Director Arghya Lahiri transposed the story from a Soviet sanatorium on the Baltic Sea shore to the Indian setting of Ranikhet.

🟣The roles were performed by the renowned acting duo — Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah.

📚 On September 20, a two-week educational course on Russian language and culture was completed at the JNU in New Delhi, during which teachers of the Minin University of Nizhny Novgorod introduced Indian colleagues and students to the peculiarities of the Russian mentality, traditions and holidays.

👩‍🏫 The classes used innovative teaching methods, including AI and neural networks to create portraits of literary heroes and virtual excursions to Russian cities. A master class on working with wimmelbooks in Russian as a foreign language classes aroused keen interest.

👥 The final event was a recitation contest “Our union, friends, is glorious by right!” dedicated to the works of Alexander Pushkin. The winner was the bachelor student Pratiksha Dzha, who performed the poem “The Storm”. In total, more than 150 people took part in the events and courses.
