Privately, they know that's bullshit.

The real reason they want to cut the earth's population in half is to create their own permanent serf class.

The method they're using to reduce the population will make the surviving population more dependent on the so-called elite class than ever.

The shots reduce population 2 ways:

1. They end and shorten lifespans
2. They reduce fertility by altering the person's genes

That's a crime against humanity for sure. Which is why in the end, when The Great Awakening reaches it's endpoint, every one of the ghouls involved in constructing and implementing and then trying to hide what they did in this Great Reset plan is going to swing.
