Interesting tweet by Space Force this morning, suggesting there would be banking problems if satellite comms were interrupted.

If the internet went down (regardless of how it happened) most bank transactions would be halted. That would likely lead to a rapid market collapse, followed by bank runs and society would soon devolve into chaos.

I wonder if the military is hinting that they have our backs in the event of a shutdown.
