❗️Iran rejects Trump administration claims of new IAEA commitments
US President Donald Trump claimed that everyone understands Iran will ultimately agree to extensive inspections to ensure long-term "nuclear honesty," while Vice President JD Vance and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent also asserted that Tehran had accepted the return of International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors and related monitoring mechanisms as part of the recent understandings reached in Switzerland.
Tehran has rejected those claims. Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei said cooperation with the IAEA will continue under the existing framework and in accordance with decisions made by Iran's parliament and Supreme National Security Council.
He stressed that Iran has not made any new commitments regarding IAEA inspections, and said participants in the 18-hour US-Iran talks in Switzerland confirmed that Iran's nuclear file was not discussed and that no new commitments were made.
Iran's nuclear facilities had been subject to IAEA inspections prior to the June 2025 US-Israeli bombing campaign during the 12-Day War. The strikes followed an IAEA report on Iran's nuclear activities, which Tehran has repeatedly criticized, as it helped pave the way for the attacks on its nuclear infrastructure.

A new paper from cryptographer Nadim Kobessi found that Telegram is sending users' unique device identifiers over the internet in plaintext instead of protecting them with HTTPS. This could allow anyone monitoring network traffic, from your internet service provider to an intelligence agency, to collect metadata that helps reveal who is talking to whom, when, and where from.
The worst part? The fix is incredibly simple. Telegram could enable HTTPS, but it hasn't. Until we see real accountability, we're no longer recommending Telegram and are moving to a messaging protocol built to minimize metadata.

Former Israeli prime minister Naftali Bennett said on Tuesday that Israel had managed to smuggle Starlink internet devices into Iran to support anti-government protesters, but claimed the initiative was not fully carried out by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s administration.
Bennett told an audience at the JNS International Policy Summit in Jerusalem that he had begun a “process of acquiring and smuggling into Iran tens of thousands of Starlink receptors that would allow continuity of the internet and social networks.”
Bennett said the equipment was meant to help rioters communicate and bring down the Iranian government.
"Unfortunately, the current incompetent Israeli government stopped doing that," he said. "And when the protest happened, that infrastructure was not there."

Washington 'Ends' Israeli Freedom Of Action Inside Lebanon: Report
Iran has reportedly threatened to end negotiations with the US if Israel continues to refuse withdrawal from Lebanon
The US government has informed Israel that it no longer has authorization for “unrestricted” military action in Lebanon, despite continued Israeli attacks and occupation in the country, Channel 12 reported on 23 June.
Washington has allegedly informed Tel Aviv that “the previous authorization for unrestricted action in Lebanon had expired.” US President Donald Trump is “imposing restrictions on Israel, not only in Lebanon but also in other arenas.”
“These directives prohibit operations in areas such as the capital, Beirut, and the Tyre district in southern Lebanon,” the report went on to say.
Meanwhile, Israel has refused to withdraw from south Lebanon and has not fully ended attacks.
Two civilians were killed by Israeli artillery shelling on south Lebanon’s Nabatieh al-Fawqa on Tuesday as they were working to remove rubble caused by Tel Aviv's strikes on the area. One of them was a municipal worker.
