A British court has granted permission for German insurance multinational Allianz to pursue a near $400,000 civil lawsuit against pro-Palestine activists, sparking outrage over the weaponization of the legal system to crush dissent. The activists, known as the Allianz6, targeted the company’s UK offices in 2024 and 2025 over its financial ties to Israeli arms manufacturer Elbit Systems.
Despite facing ongoing criminal trials, the defendants must now mount an expensive civil defense after a London judge rejected their request to delay the corporate suit until their criminal proceedings conclude.
The multi-billion-dollar insurance giant aggressively escalated its financial demands by tacking on an additional $267,000 for "reputational damage" after the activists requested a pause. — One of the worst parts of this, is that Iran’s Parliament is closed due to the war. So the Parliament cannot even voice its opposition to the MoU or draft a motion to dismiss it.
Similarly, many other important matters like leaving the NPT, officially establishing control over the Strait of Hormuz, or the impeachment of officials have not been brought to a vote due to Parliament being closed.

It risks alienating those who spent 100+ nights on the streets in support of their government and their leader.
I have much more to say, but all we can do now is wait to see if there will really be a deal, and what exactly are the terms. Although, in my opinion the terms are irrelevant because America will violate them no matter what.

Half of Israelis (50%) believe their country’s deterrence has declined following the recent escalation with Iran and Lebanon, compared to 28% who say it has strengthened, while 22% are undecided, according to a Maariv poll. Additionally, 49% think the Israeli army’s freedom to carry out strikes in Lebanon has decreased after the latest confrontation, versus 30% who say it has improved and 21% who are unsure.
On Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s decision to launch an attack on Lebanon despite Trump’s supposed call not to do so, opinions are divided: 29% said he acted correctly, 36% said a stronger strike should have been carried out, while 19% preferred following the US position.
Meanwhile, 62% expressed distrust in Trump, while 21% said they trust him regarding Israeli interests in any agreement, and 17% said they do not know.
