โ—๏ธIsrael leaves dozens homeless as ethnic cleansing campaign intensifies across the occupied West Bank

Israeli forces demolished at least nine Palestinian homes and a carpentry workshop across the occupied West Bank on Monday, displacing families and advancing a broader campaign of ethnic cleansing through home demolitions, land confiscation, and forced displacement. The demolitions took place in Barta'a, southwest of Jenin, and in Khirbet Qalqas, south of Hebron (Al-Khalil), targeting homes, livelihoods, and agricultural land.

In Barta'a, Israeli bulldozers demolished eight homes, including two inhabited residences, after forcing residents to evacuate. According to WAFA, the demolition orders target 20 homes housing more than 100 people, while around 120 additional homes remain under threat. Residents attempted to stop the demolitions, leading to confrontations during which Israeli forces fired tear gas. The town, located behind the separation wall built on Jenin Governorate land, is also subjected to severe movement restrictions through the Barta'a military checkpoint.

Meanwhile, in Khirbet Qalqas, south of Hebron, Israeli forces demolished a two-story home housing a family of five and destroyed a carpentry workshop. Family members said Israeli bulldozers also leveled surrounding land, tore down boundary walls, and uprooted fruit-bearing trees, causing further damage to the family's property and source of income.

The demolitions come amid an accelerating Israeli campaign across the occupied West Bank marked by home demolitions, land seizures, settlement expansion, military restrictions, and the displacement of Palestinian communities. Palestinians face near-impossible obstacles to obtaining building permits, while Israeli authorities continue using permit denials as a pretext to remove families from their homes and expand control over Palestinian land.

โ€” He has basically announced the end of negotiations now, it seems.

Which is funny, because a source told me it was actually IRAN that informed the U.S. a few hours ago that negotiations cannot continue in good faith due to continued breaches.

As expected, no deal is possible with such people. Back to the battlefield.

Israeli occupation forces raided the area west of Al-Rafid in the southern Quneitra countryside on 8 June, where they reportedly beat four minors and confiscated their mobile phones.

This assault follows a separate operation the previous day in the village of Al-Hurriya, which involved over thirty soldiers and five military vehicles conducting searches of local homes.

These incidents are part of a broader pattern of near-daily military incursions, raids, and detentions carried out by Israeli forces in southern Syria.

Catholic Bishop In Nigerian State Hit By US Missile Strikes Opposes Bombing | December 28, 2025 The top Catholic official in the Nigerian state that was targeted by US missiles on Christmas has come out against the US strikes, according to a report fromโ€ฆ
U.S.-Nigerian Strikes Killed Dozens of Civilians, Villagers Say

AFRICOM and the Nigerian army claimed they killed 175 โ€œterroristsโ€ over the course of three days in May.

On the evening of May 16, the village of Metele in Nigeriaโ€™s Borno state was hit by a series of airstrikes carried out in coordination between the U.S. and Nigerian militaries.

โ€œChildren were playing, women were preparing meals, and there was nothing to suggest that anything unusual was about to happen,โ€
recalled Goni Ahmed, a local resident who directly witnessed the strikes. He described a scene in which village life was suddenly destroyed by the attack. โ€œFirst, we heard aircraft overhead. Shortly afterward, there were loud explosions that shook the ground. After the blasts, I could hear people shouting, crying, and calling for assistance. The sounds of panic and confusion continued for quite some time.
โ€

Panic enveloped Metele and villagers fled their homes, not knowing if further strikes would take place. โ€œMany people in the community still remember those days as some of the most difficult we have experienced,โ€ Ahmed recalled.

Ali Zagina lost four relatives in the strike, and his house was destroyed. โ€œWe are in great pain, a pain I believe we will never forget,โ€ Zagina said. โ€œAs a resident of Metele this is one of the saddest days of my life.โ€ Zagina, his wife and his four children are now renting a home in the Gomari neighborhood of Maiduguri. โ€œI could not recognize my house or many parts of the community because almost the entire area had been reduced to ashes,โ€ he told Drop Site News.

The strikes were part of an expanding war between the Nigerian government and local Islamist groups which has drawn the increased involvement of the Trump administration, with little scrutiny. Metele, a remote community in northern Borno State near the Nigeria-Niger border, has long been affected by insurgent activities. Security sources and local residents have frequently identified the area and its surroundings as locations where fighters affiliated with the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) operate.

โญ•๏ธ Maersk reportedly still shipping weapons parts to Israel despite denials

A new report by the Palestinian Youth Movement and Oxfam Denmark published on 8 June indicates that shipping giant Maersk continued transporting weapons components to Israel throughout the Gaza genocide, despite the company's repeated denial.

The investigation says Maersk vessels carried rifle and pistol parts, bomb casings, mortar-system components, and materials used in explosives from US and Indian suppliers to Israeli arms manufacturers, including Elbit Systems and IMI Systems.

Researchers cited shipping records and bills of lading to document the deliveries.

Maersk rejected the allegations, saying it has maintained a strict policy against transporting weapons or ammunition to Israel and that its military-cargo screening procedures comply with US, EU, Danish, and UN regulations.

Campaigners behind the report argue that shipping key weapons components makes Maersk complicit in Israel's military campaign in Gaza. They are calling for the company to halt all military-related shipments to Israel and face growing public pressure over its role in global arms supply chains.

Eight years before he was imprisoned for over half a decade on trumped up charges, Julian Assange exposed the mainstream media's role in perpetuating war.

"Nearly every war that has started in the past 50 years has been a result of media lies."

"Populations don't like wars... Populations have to be fooled into wars."

"The media in general are so bad, we have to question whether the world wouldn't be better off without them altogether."
