🇺🇸/🇮🇷 President Trump on Truth Social:

‘The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed in place or, at another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or its equivalent, being witness to this process and event. Thank you for your attention to this matter!’

🇺🇸/🇮🇷 President Trump on Truth Social: ‘The Enriched Uranium (Nuclear Dust!) will either be immediately turned over to the United States to be brought home and destroyed or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran,…
— NOTE: This is the first time Trump has openly admitted that Iran may not transfer the uranium stockpile abroad

I suspect that the wording ‘destroyed’ will also later change to ‘diluted’ (which has been Iran’s proposal all along).

It seems Iran is getting what it wants; NO transfer of uranium to a third country, but rather diluting it to 20% and 3.67% purity inside Iran.

❗️Pakistan rejects Trump’s Abraham Accords push, says normalization with Israel is 'not acceptable'

Pakistan’s Defense Minister Khawaja Asif rejected US President Donald Trump’s call for Muslim-majority countries to join the Abraham Accords, saying Islamabad should not enter any agreement that clashes with its “fundamental ideologies.”

Speaking to Pakistan’s Samaa TV, Asif said: “Personally, I don't think we should join any such accord that clashes with our fundamental ideologies,” adding that Pakistan’s position on Israel remains unchanged despite growing US pressure and regional diplomatic efforts linked to negotiations with Iran.

“We have a very clear stance that this is not acceptable to us,” Asif said, stressing that Pakistan still does not recognize Israel and remains “the only country whose passports don't even include Israel's name.”

He also questioned how states could normalize ties with Israel amid the ongoing war on Gaza, saying: “How will you sit down with those people whose word cannot be trusted even for a single day?”

Trump had urged Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt and Jordan to join an expanded Abraham Accords framework as part of a broader regional settlement.

Asif, one of Pakistan’s most outspoken anti-normalization figures, previously described Israel as a “curse for humanity” and condemned it for its genocidal policies in the region.

The number of reservists to be mobilized was not specified.

The move followed a Sunday cabinet meeting of the Israeli Security Cabinet, during which Israeli army Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir called for the carpet bombing of Beirut's suburbs in retaliation for Hezbollah's deadly drone attacks.

❗️Iran's Moscow envoy says US negotiating team is internally divided

Iran's ambassador to Russia, Kazem Jalali, said the US negotiating team in Pakistan-mediated talks with Tehran is not internally coordinated, with contradictory positions between the team and President Trump exposing a lack of unity, IRNA reported on 26 May.

Speaking to Russian newspaper Kommersant, Jalali said "Several proposals have been exchanged, but the reason they have not come to fruition is the approach of President Trump."

He added that Trump is "only focused on victory and prestige for himself and nothing else," describing him as the sole decision-maker in the US.

"The problem today with the United States and with President Donald Trump is that he wants to issue instructions. If we were going to accept American directives, then why did we spend nearly five decades resisting and standing firm? We have paid heavy costs for our national independence; naturally, we do not accept diktats," he said.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney told Israeli President Isaac Herzog on Monday that Israel’s treatment of detained activists had been "appalling" and described conditions in Gaza as "catastrophic," according to a statement from Carney’s office.

"The Prime Minister reiterated that the appalling treatment of civilians, including Canadian citizens, aboard the Gaza-bound flotilla was unacceptable, and he called for an independent investigation," the statement said.

The statement added that Carney reaffirmed Canada’s opposition to illegal Israeli settlement expansion, settler violence in the occupied West Bank, and attacks on Palestinian civilians.
