Joe Rogan: “israel’s like the number one place where sex offenders go from America. Especially jewish people…kind of proves Kanye’s point a little bit…

It’s amazing how many high-profile jewish people … they have an opinion about everything but when it gets to this (iran) they just avoid that or come up with some random way to justify annihilating an entire city.”

⭕️ Israel–Azerbaijan economic ties expand as ambassador cites energy, investment growth

Israel’s ambassador to Azerbaijan Ronen Krausz said on 1 May that economic ties between the two countries are expanding, pointing to deepening cooperation in energy, investment, and tourism.

“Economic relations between Israel and Azerbaijan are certainly expanding. This includes the Tamar field and discussions on purchasing stakes in Israeli companies, for example, IDE (Israeli Desalination Company). I am confident that even more areas of cooperation will emerge in the future,” Krausz said.

He also highlighted growing tourism flows, noting a sharp rise in Israeli visitors.

“Nearly 70,000 Israeli tourists visited Azerbaijan in 2025. In addition, many people used Azerbaijan as a transit hub, flying from Baku to other destinations. I hope we will continue to see a large number of Israelis visiting Azerbaijan,” he added.

❗️Iraq begins work on major Basra-Haditha oil pipeline

Iraq has begun construction on an oil pipeline connecting Basra to Haditha, with a planned capacity of 2.5 million barrels per day, the state news agency reported on Friday, citing the oil ministry.

The ministry said around $1.5 billion has been set aside for the project, though progress will depend on obtaining additional budget funding.

According to a ministry spokesman, the 700-kilometer pipeline will carry crude for export via several routes, including Syria’s Baniyas, Turkiye’s Ceyhan, and Jordan’s Aqaba, while also feeding refineries along the route.
Israel's Western, Arab Partners Helped Coordinate Abduction Of Gaza Flotilla Activists

Israeli forces released 175 activists after abducting them off the coast of Greece, but have refused to release two others, transporting them to Israel

The Israeli army used the US headquarters in Kiryat Gat in Israel to coordinate with military officers from several countries to obstruct the Global Freedom Flotilla sailing to Gaza to break Israel's blockade of the strip, Israeli media reported on 1 May.

Israeli officials took advantage of meetings held inside the US-led Civil Military Coordination Center (CMCC) with officers from the militaries of various countries to raise the issue of the flotilla and push to block its arrival in Gaza by sea.

In the early hours of 30 April, Israeli Army Radio announced that Israeli forces had seized the ships of the Freedom Flotilla near Greece and abducted the activists on board.

The CMCC in Kiryat Gat was established in October 2025 under the auspices of US President Donald Trump's “Board of Peace,” allegedly to oversee the entry of humanitarian aid and reconstruction of Gaza after a ceasefire was reached with Hamas.

Officers from the US, Egypt, Qatar, UAE, Jordan, Germany, France, and Spain were dispatched to staff the CMCC. However, the Spanish officers were expelled in April 2026 following Spain's Prime Minister, Pedro Sanchez's, criticism of Israel's killing of civilians in Gaza and Lebanon.

VIDEO | "We took over the ship, took over the cargo, took over the oil. We're like pirates."

In a blunt admission of the US military’s role in the current aggression against Iran, President Donald Trump declared on Friday that the US Navy is now acting "like pirates" to enforce a total naval blockade of Iranian ports. During remarks in Florida, Trump boasted about the recent seizure of an Iranian-linked vessel, gloating over the capture of its cargo and crude oil as a "very profitable business."

The admission confirms that the US has transitioned from its traditional rhetoric of "freedom of navigation" to a policy of state-sanctioned maritime theft, with Trump explicitly stating, "We’re sort of like pirates, but we are not playing games."

❗️US threatens sanctions on firms paying Iran Hormuz transit fees

The US Treasury warned on 2 May that shipping companies could face sanctions for paying Iran to secure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, as Washington moves to block what it described as Tehran’s emerging “tollbooth” system.

According to the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), payments for passage—whether in cash, digital assets, or in-kind transfers—could expose firms to penalties, even if used to avoid attacks. The warning comes amid escalating maritime tensions following the US–Israeli war on Iran, with Tehran restricting access to the strait and the US imposing a counter-blockade since 13 April, forcing dozens of commercial vessels to turn back.

❗️Iran reviewing US response to 14-point plan, dismisses Al Jazeera and other reports

Iran said it is currently reviewing the US response to its 14-point proposal, which was delivered through Pakistani intermediaries, according to Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.

He stressed that the plan is focused solely on ending the US-Israeli war on Iran and halting hostilities across the region, particularly in Lebanon, and contains no provisions related to Iran’s nuclear program whatsoever.

Baghaei rejected recent media reports, including claims by Al Jazeera, saying details such as a 15-year suspension of nuclear activities or joint US-Iran mine-clearing efforts in the Strait of Hormuz are “fabricated” and not part of the proposal.

He emphasized that Iran is not currently engaged in nuclear negotiations and that such matters belong to separate, earlier discussions.

The proposal envisions an initial ceasefire followed by a 30-day period to work out details, while Iran maintains it will not negotiate under imposed deadlines or ultimatums.

Tehran also dismissed speculation about external guarantors, stressing that any agreement would rely on Iran’s own leverage and capabilities, as it continues to prioritize ending the war and addressing the ongoing US blockade before any broader negotiations.

❗️China urges UN Security Council to reconsider ending UNIFIL mandate in Lebanon

China’s ambassador to the UN said on Friday that the UN Security Council should reconsider its decision to end the mandate of a long-running peacekeeping mission in Lebanon at the end of this year.

Envoy Fu Cong said China, which is holding the Security Council presidency for May, is worried about the situation in Lebanon. He added that there is no genuine ceasefire in place, describing it instead as a "lesser fire."

"It is incumbent on Israel to stop this bombardment of Lebanon," he told reporters.

Fu also said he had recently discussed the matter with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. According to him, the UN secretariat is considering a review and is expected to present options in June for implementing UN Security Council Resolution 1701.

"I think at least the view of the overwhelming majority of the Security Council is that this is not the time to redraw UNIFIL," Fu said.

❗️Washington pulls 5,000 troops from Germany after Merz says Iran ‘humiliated’ US

The Pentagon announced on 2 May that the US will withdraw around 5,000 troops from Germany within six to 12 months, as tensions escalate between Washington and its European allies over the war on Iran.

The move follows remarks by German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, who said the US had been “humiliated” by Iran’s leadership, prompting a sharp response from US officials, who described Berlin’s comments as “inappropriate and unhelpful.”

The withdrawal, which includes a brigade combat team and the cancellation of a planned long-range deployment, comes as President Donald Trump widens his criticism to other NATO members.

Trump threatened Italy and Spain with similar troop pullouts, accusing them of failing to support efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, while both governments pushed back—Madrid opposing the war outright and Rome rejecting claims it had withheld support.

❗️US Navy taps AI firm for $100M mine-clearing operation as Strait of Hormuz remains a ‘death trap’

The US Navy has awarded a $100 million contract to San Francisco-based AI firm Domino Data Lab to accelerate the detection of underwater mines in the Strait of Hormuz. The move comes as the Trump administration scrambles to secure the world's most vital energy artery, where a weeks-long blockade war between Washington and Tehran has left the shipping lanes littered with sophisticated explosives.

While a tenuous ceasefire currently holds, US President Trump admitted that US forces are still struggling to clear Iranian mines—a process that military experts warn could take months of painstaking labor. The new AI integration is intended to bypass traditional delays by training underwater drones to identify and neutralize new mine variants in a matter of days rather than weeks.

The reliance on high-priced Silicon Valley software underscores the vulnerability of the US Navy’s conventional hardware in the face of Iran’s asymmetric naval strategy. As the global economy teeters under the threat of supply chain disruptions, the US is betting on AI to reclaim a vital sea route that has been effectively contested by Tehran’s low-cost, high-impact defense measures.
Iranian Strikes Heavily Damage Majority Of US Military Bases In West Asia

US military bases located in the Persian Gulf are now viewed as 'sitting ducks' to Iran's 'fast and precise' attacks

Iranian missile and drone strikes heavily damaged the majority of US bases in the Persian Gulf region since the US-Israeli war against the country began two months ago, according to an investigation by CNN published on 2 May.

Among the 16 US bases hit were sites in Kuwait, Bahrain, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Iraq, leaving many of them unusable.

"I have never seen anything like this at US bases," a person familiar with the damage told CNN. "These were fast and precise strikes, using advanced technology."
