Ex-Deputy From North Carolina Plotted Mass Shooting In New Orleans, Officials Say
DESTIN, Fla. (WECT/ WBTV) - An ex-deputy from North Carolina was arrested in Florida on Wednesday after he allegedly planned a mass shooting at a festival in New Orleans.
The former deputy -- Christopher Gillum -- was arrested just after 6:30 p.m. on April 22 at a Hampton Inn hotel in Destin, Fla.
The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office said it got word that Gillum was in the area and found him using a camera system. Once they located him, deputies found a handgun and about 200 bullets in his hotel room.
Authorities accused Gillum of planning to go to an unspecified festival in New Orleans, where he allegedly plotted to conduct a mass shooting. CNN reported that he also planned to die “by cop.”
“This disturbing case highlights how technology like FLOCK [cameras] and strong partnerships between agencies can help prevent potential violence and bring wanted fugitives into custody safely before a tragedy could occur,” the Okaloosa County sheriff said.
Gillum -- who lives in Chapel Hill, N.C. -- was wanted for terroristic threats and was being held in the Okaloosa County jail until he could be taken to Louisiana to face charges.

US Missile Stocks 'significantly Depleted' Since Start Of War On Iran: Report
Reports have indicated that Israel and Washington’s Gulf allies have also been dealing with dwindling air defense stockpiles
The US army “significantly depleted” its missile stockpile throughout the illegal war against the Islamic Republic of Iran, according to assessments and sources who spoke with CNN on 21 January.
As a result, it is now at “near-term risk” of running out, the report reveals.
“The US military has expended at least 45 percent of its stockpile of Precision Strike Missiles; at least half of its inventory of THAAD missiles, and nearly 50 percent of its stockpile of Patriot air defense interceptor missiles,” CNN reports, citing an analysis by the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS).
The Pentagon recently signed several contracts to expand the production of missiles. Yet delivery is estimated to take three to five years, even at increased capacity, according to the sources and the CSIS assessment.
The CNN report adds that Washington is likely capable of resuming attacks on Iran if the truce fully collapses.

❗️French complaint accuses FedEx of aiding Israel's genocide in Gaza through covert transit of F-35 components
A pro-Palestine group in France has filed a legal complaint against FedEx, accusing the logistics giant of complicity in war crimes, crimes against humanity, and genocide over its alleged role in transporting aircraft components used by the Israeli forces in Gaza. The French Jewish Union for Peace (UJFP) claims the company’s French subsidiary facilitated the transfer of key parts from the US to Israel via Paris, contributing to the maintenance of fighter jets deployed in bombing and surveillance operations.
According to the complaint, at least 117 shipments transited through Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle Airport between April and October 2025, including multiple deliveries flown directly to Israel. The plaintiffs argue that the materials, described as dual-use but allegedly destined for military bases, were essential for aircraft such as F-35s and potentially F-15s and F-16s. FedEx France has denied the allegations, stating it does not transport weapons or ammunition, while the complaint insists the company was aware of the nature of the cargo.
The case, backed by findings from several pro-Palestine organizations, calls for a judicial investigation into whether French authorities authorized the transfers in violation of international law, including the Genocide Convention. It unfolds against a backdrop of mounting accusations of French complicity in Israel's genocide in Gaza and growing restrictions on Palestinian advocacy, including the recent denial of a visa to Al-Haq director Shawan Jabarin, blocking his participation in high-level meetings across Europe.

Israeli Minister Ben-Gvir’s English Translator, Yishai Fleischer, Says Nick Fuentes Is Right About Everything He Claims Israel Is Planning To Do
“You’re saying all this as if it’s a bad thing. It’s not a bad thing. It’s God’s plan, it’s the historical plan, and Israel has every right to extend its defense to the Arab countries and across this region.
You’re right. From the Indian Sea to the Persian Gulf, to the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aqaba, the Suez Canal, and the Mediterranean, we’re going to have a lot of control over that, and it’s going to be good for the world.”

I can’t even make this into a serious post because it’s so ridiculous:
ISRAEL has informed the U.S. that it needs to put more pressure on Hezbollah to ‘respect the ceasefire in Lebanon’. It calls the violations ‘unacceptable’.
Yes, you got that right. The side that has bombed more than 300+ places, carried out dozens of assassinations, and demolished villages is asking the other side to not violate.
The state of the world is absolutely ridiculous and it’s fucking insane that Israel is allowed to get away with this.

—❗️🇺🇸/🇮🇷 NEW: In a report, CBS news confirms that American military bases in the Middle East suffered ‘more extensive damage’ from Iranian attacks than publicly known
The bases are said to be mostly destroyed, and their repair would likely cost in the billions of dollars.
Notably, U.S. bases even came under attack by Iranian F-5 fighter jets — despite Trump’s claims that the Iranian Air Force had been ‘completely obliterated’.
This marks the third confirmed usage of the Iranian Air Force against U.S. bases during the war. Previously, an attack by two Iranian Su-24s led to 6 American fatalities in Kuwait, before they were eventually shot down when aporoaching the coast of Doha, Qatar.
