US-Israeli Strikes In Iran Hit Orphanage, Cancer Drug Facility, Religious Site, And More Residential Buildings

At least two people were reported killed in the strike that hit an orphanage west of Tehran

US-Israeli strikes continue to pound civilian targets in Iran, hitting an orphanage, a cancer drug facility, a religious site, and more residential buildings in recent days.

CNN reported , citing Iran’s semi-official Fars News Agency , that a US or Israeli strike on Monday hit a newly built orphan charity complex in the city of Fardis, about 25 miles west of Tehran, killing at least two people and wounding five others.

The attack on the orphanage was also recorded by the Human Rights Activist News Agency (HRANA), a US-based and US-funded NGO that’s very critical of the Iranian government.

According to Al Jazeera , the Iranian government said that a US-Israeli strike on Tuesday hit one of Iran’s largest pharmaceutical companies in Tehran that makes anesthetics and cancer drugs.

“During the US and Zionist regime attacks on civilian centers, on the morning of Tuesday, one of the largest companies producing anti-cancer, anesthetic, and specialized medicines was damaged, and the drug production line was damaged,” the government said.

NBC News reported:
More than 70,000 residential units and nearly 300 health facilities across Iran have been damaged by airstrikes since the start of the war, according to the latest figures from Iran's Red Crescent Society.

Poll: Most American Jews Oppose War On Iran

Vast majority of poll respondents say Trump has no clear plan for the conflict

A new J Street poll finds 60% of American Jews oppose the U.S. war on Iran .

The poll of American Jews across the political spectrum, commissioned by J Street and conducted by GBAO strategies, found that 77% of respondents do not believe President Trump has a clear plan and mission for the war in Iran.

Nearly two-thirds, or 63%, of poll respondents agreed that concerns about Iran’s nuclear program were best solved through diplomacy and sanctions; only 37% agreed they were best addressed with military action. Meanwhile, 58% of respondents agreed that U.S. military action against Iran weakens the U.S., rather than strengthening it.

As members of J Street’s leadership point out, the findings indicate that most Jewish Americans want peace.

“This data is a wake-up call for anyone claiming to speak for the American Jewish community while beating the drums of war,” J Street President Jeremy Ben-Ami said . “Most American Jews see this war for what it is: A reckless, unforced error by a President who has no clear, achievable goals or an exit strategy.”

The poll also highlights the large gap in opinion between American Jews and Israeli Jews, with the latter group expressing strong support for the conflict in polls.

“It is ridiculous & offensive to argue that American Jews can’t oppose the war in Iran because Israelis support it,” Ilan Goldenberg, J Street’s senior vice president, wrote on X. “That’s a dangerous definition of ‘pro-Israel.’ It’s an AMERICAN war.”

Notably, the poll also showed broad support among American Jews for conditioning aid to Israel, with 44% saying that weapons sales must comply with U.S. law and 26% saying the U.S. should cut off aid entirely.

❗️Malaysia says its ships will not have to pay toll to transit Strait of Hormuz

Malaysia’s government has confirmed that several of its vessels waiting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz will be allowed to transit without paying any tolls to Iran, Transport Minister Anthony Loke said on Tuesday. The assurance came after Iran’s ambassador informed Malaysian officials that the country is regarded as a “friendly nation,” and no transit fees will be imposed on its ships.

Loke spoke amid wider regional tensions and disruptions to global shipping linked to the ongoing US‑Israeli war on Iran, which has led Tehran to restrict most vessel movement through the crucial waterway. While many global carriers remain stranded, Iranian authorities have been selectively permitting ships from certain countries to pass without charges.

The Malaysian government dismissed online claims that its vessels would face steep tolls, saying all transit will be toll‑free under current arrangements.
