Netanyahu Orders 'Expansion' Of South Lebanon Occupation As Hezbollah Intensifies Clashes

Dozens of Israeli tanks have been hit by the Lebanese resistance in the last few days as Tel Aviv’s forces have attempted to push deeper

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on 29 March that Tel Aviv will push deeper into south Lebanon in order to expand its ground operation and seize territory in the country’s south, coinciding with heavy clashes between Hezbollah and invading troops.

Netanyahu said he ordered the Israeli army to “further expand the existing security zone” and “fundamentally change the situation” in northern Israeli settlements.

He also said expanding the operation in Lebanon aims to “definitively thwart the [Hezbollah] invasion threat and to push anti-tank missile fire away from our border.”

Tel Aviv had already claimed it thwarted the so-called “Galilee invasion plot” after assassinating top Hezbollah leaders in 2024.

“We are the side that is acting, we are the side that is attacking, we are the side that has the initiative, and we are deep in their territory,” the premier went on to say.

❗️The Iranian hacker collective known as Handala reports that a city in the US is currently experiencing a widespread cyber disruption with details expected to emerge soon.

❗️Handala hackers claim full control of IranWire, extract sensitive data

The Iran-linked hacker group Handala has announced a major cyber operation, successfully taking full control of the news outlet IranWire. According to the group, the outlet was operating under the direct guidance and support of the CIA, and the operation allowed Handala to extract a vast volume of documents, including correspondence, lists of affiliates, infiltrators, and other confidential data. The extracted information has been securely encrypted for delivery to the intelligence agencies of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In its statement, Handala emphasized that “no space remains safe for treason or espionage.” The group stated that all individuals who have had any cooperation or contact with IranWire, or who transmitted photos, videos, or coordinates to foreign services over the past years, have been identified and are now under constant and precise surveillance by the Axis of Resistance. The statement warned that any attempt to erase information or sever connections will be futile, as the group claims its cyber network has penetrated all layers of communication and data infrastructure, detecting and recording any suspicious activity.

The hacker collective stated that decisive action, arrests in the coming hours or days, and public exposure of identities will follow, stressing that “no act of betrayal will go unanswered.”

Handala's statement also alleged that they are now actively present across all hostile media platforms, with further disclosures regarding other outlets and their affiliates to be announced at the appropriate time, in accordance with the interests of the Axis of Resistance. This operation represents one of Handala’s most comprehensive and detailed declarations to date.

US Deploying Another Aircraft Carrier To The Middle East For Iran War

The US is deploying a third aircraft carrier to the Middle East for operations against Iran, US officials told media outlets on Tuesday, a sign that the war will continue to escalate despite President Trump’s claims that he is looking to end the conflict.

The aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush and other warships that are part of its strike group departed Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia on Tuesday and are expected to arrive in the Middle East in a few weeks. The US Navy said the strike group’s departure is part of a regularly scheduled deployment.

According to The Wall Street Journal , once the Bush arrives in the region, the US could have three carriers deployed for the Iran war for the foreseeable future, though Al Arabiya reported that the warship could replace one of the two carriers that have been involved in the conflict: the USS Abraham Lincoln, which has been operating in the Arabian Sea, or the USS Gerald Ford, which is currently in Croatia after being in Crete for reparis.

The Ford, which was operating in the Eastern Mediterranean near Israel, went to port after a major fire on the ship destroyed the beds of 100 crewmembers . The US military has insisted that the blaze was caused by a fire in the ship’s laundry room, though there are suspicions that an attack or sabotage was the real cause. The Ford has also been on an extended deployment and is set to break the record for the longest deployment since the Vietnam War.

In addition to sending a third aircraft carrier to the Middle East, the US has deployed thousands of Marines and US Army Airborne troops to the region as the Pentagon prepares for potential ground operations. Trump is insisting the war could be over in a few weeks, but escalating to a ground war would likely lead to a much longer conflict.
