VIDEO | "I urged the President to launch this attack."
In a recent interview on the YouTube program Triggernometry, US Senator Ted Cruz acknowledged that he advised President Donald Trump on military action against Iran only days ahead of the US-Israeli strikes.
Cruz reportedly told Trump, โAmerica will be much much saferโ after conducting attacks on Iran. He added, โI believe our objective should unequivocally be collapsing this regime, and in my view the decision to launch this attack was the most consequential decision President Trump has made in his second term.โ
During the interview, Cruz also openly called for arming Iranian rioters, arguing that while US-Israeli tactics in Iran have been "effective" it has not been enough.

Japan 'Not Considering' Iran's Offer To Allow Its Tankers Passage Through Strait Of Hormuz
US envoy Mike Waltz says Japan is considering deploying its navy for military operations to open the strategic waterway
Tokyo is not planning to request that Iran allow Japanese tankers to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, Japan's Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi stated on 23 March, after Tehran had signaled willingness to assist.
When asked about the issue during an interview with Fuji Television on Sunday, Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi answered, โFor the time being, we are not thinking about that.โ
The Strait of Hormuz, through which at least 20 percent of the world's oil typically flows, was effectively shut after the US and Israel launched a war on Iran on 28 February.
Iran threatened to target ships from โenemy statesโ participating in the attack against it. At the same time, maritime insurers in New York and London canceled wartime coverage for vessels passing through the strategic waterway.
On Friday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Japanese media that Tehran was ready to facilitate safe transit for Japan, which imports 90 percent of its oil from the Persian Gulf region.
โThey only need to contact us so we can discuss how this transit can take place,โ Araghchi stated in a phone interview with Kyodo News.
Araghchi rejected claims that the strait was closed, saying, โFrom our perspective, the strait is open. It is only closed to ships belonging to our enemies.โ
Japan is allied with the US and Israel, but has not participated in the war so far.
Meanwhile, US envoy to the UN Mike Waltz claimed on Sunday that Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has committed to assisting Washington with naval operations to open the Strait of Hormuz.
โSince so much energy is going to Europe out of the strait. We just had the Japanese prime minister commit to portions of her navy and the Japanese navy, 80 percent of what is coming out of the Gulf is going to Asia,โ Waltz said in an interview with CBS News.
โSo we are seeing our allies come around as they should, but at the same time, the president (Donald Trump) is not going to stand for this regime, as it has threatened and tried for five decades to hold the world's energy supplies hostage,โ he added.
On Saturday night, US President Donald Trump gave Iran a 48-hour deadline to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, saying he would โobliterateโ Iranian power plants if Iran did not open it.
Tehran vowed in response that it would strike all US and Israeli-linked energy infrastructure across the entirety of the region.
Trump backtracked on his threat to strike all Iranian power infrastructure following Tehranโs warnings, claiming in a post on Truth Social that Washington and the Islamic Republic have had โproductive conversationsโ over the past two days.

Overnight Pogroms By Jewish Settlers Target Palestinian Villages Across The Occupied West Bank
Israel has escalated its attacks on Palestinians under the cover of the war on Iran
Israeli settlers rampaged through multiple Palestinian villages in the occupied West Bank overnight on 21 March, smashing cars, burning homes, and attacking and injuring Palestinians defending their homes.
The settlers carried out attacks in at least six Palestinian communities on Saturday and Sunday.
WAFA reported attacks in the villages of Silat al Dahr and Fandaqumiya near Jenin, the villages of Jalud and Salfit near Nablus, and farming communities in Masafer Yatta and the Jordan Valley.
In Fandaqumiya, Israeli settlers set "homes and vehicles ablaze and damaged additional houses by smashing windows" as Palestinians "attempted to confront them and put out the fires," WAFA stated.

The Killing Of Newborns
An Israeli academic, Orit Perlov, posted a tweet in Hebrew, later deleted, in which she argued that confronting Iran requires a harsh religious approach targeting Iranian children, citing biblical references to the killing of newborns.
She claimed similar tactics were previously applied in Gaza, where over 14,000 children were killed according to UN statistics, and suggested applying the same model in Iran and Lebanon. She also stated that instead of targeting power stations, if top Iranian officials cannot be reached, their children should be killed.
