Khaled al-Aida, a Palestinian-Syrian with Ukrainian citizenship, has been implicated in bombings and assassinations across Lebanon between 2024 and 2025.
Security investigations have proved his involvement in an assassination attempt at Beirut’s Rafiq Hariri International Airport, as well as the capital’s southern suburb.
Aida was also on the ground during the assassination of former Hezbollah secretary-general, Hassan Nasrallah, according to Mortada, who also reported that Aida had helped Lebanese intelligence dismantle a Mossad cell.

“I’m writing you from Rafah near the humanitarian aid. Listen, we woke up this morning to changes in the guidelines. If until now we could shoot at Gazans approaching the sds (safe distribution sites) to get them to move away, now I have to sit in the tanks and watch them arrive in an hour.
They go where they are not supposed to and we just put a drone over them and contain the event. It is just crazy.
To get approval to shoot to move them away you need approval from the battalion commander. Not a shot to kill but just to get them to back away🥵 ”

Over 3 Million People Forcibly Displaced By US-Israeli War On Iran: UN
In Lebanon, Israeli attacks have displaced a staggering 14 percent of the population
Over 3 million Iranians have been displaced by the ongoing US-Israeli war against the Islamic Republic, the Director of the Division of Emergency and Programme Support at UNHCR, Ayaki Ito, revealed on 12 March.
“Between 600,000 and 1 million Iranian households are now temporarily displaced inside Iran as a result of the ongoing conflict, according to preliminary assessments, representing up to 3.2 million people,” Ito wrote in the statement.
In every emergency and conflict, we work with governments and partners to monitor and gather displacement figures.
Figures of displacement within Iran are estimates based on data provided by authorities. UNHCR is not able to verify these.
He added that most of the internally displaced are fleeing Tehran and other major urban areas, and that the number of forcibly displaced “is likely to continue rising as hostilities persist, marking a worrying escalation in humanitarian needs.”
The statement added that refugee families hosted in the country, the majority of whom are Afghan, are particularly vulnerable due to their already “precarious situation” and “limited support networks,” with many now leaving affected areas as insecurity rises and access to essential services declines.
