❗️Netanyahu to urge Trump to take harder line on Iran & Gaza 'ceasefire'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to tell US President Donald Trump during their meeting today that the second stage of the Gaza 'ceasefire' “is not moving,” an Israeli source familiar with the matter told The Times of Israel on Tuesday, as Netanyahu’s aircraft was heading to Washington.

According to the source, Israel has conveyed to Washington that another would be required to advance Trump’s vision for the Gaza Strip.

Netanyahu is also expected to press Trump to take a tougher stance on Iran’s nuclear and ballistic missile programs, according to AFP.

❗️Israeli intelligence suddenly removes journalist from Netanyahu’s flight to US

A Russian-born Israeli journalist told AFP he was removed from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's flight to Washington on Tuesday moments before takeoff after security agents said they needed to verify his “connections.” Nick Kolyohin, a freelance reporter, had been scheduled to cover Netanyahu's meeting with US President Donald Trump for three Russian television channels. Unlike previous trips, reporters were allowed to travel aboard the prime minister's plane, the Wing of Zion.

Kolyohin said he boarded the media section with about 10 other journalists and stowed his bags when agents from Israel's Shin Bet domestic security service approached him and asked him to disembark. The prime minister's office told Hebrew-language website Yedioth Ahronoth that it had stopped Kolyohin from traveling but could not provide details “for security reasons.” Shin Bet said its decisions aim to reduce risks to the prime minister and information in his environment.

The journalist, 42, moved to Israel from Moscow at age nine and later worked in Netanyahu’s office in 2011-2012. Today he holds only Israeli citizenship and regularly reports for international outlets, including television channels in India and Britain. Kolyohin criticized the removal, saying, “It makes no sense to treat a journalist like this … they humiliated me in front of everyone and checked my belongings as if there was a bomb.”

❗️Trump considers sending second aircraft carrier to West Asia to pressure Iran

US President Donald Trump said Tuesday he is weighing the deployment of a second aircraft carrier strike group to West Asia, signaling increased pressure on Tehran amid ongoing nuclear talks. “We have an armada that is heading there and another one might be going,” Trump told Axios, confirming internal discussions about sending additional forces to join the USS Abraham Lincoln currently in the region.

Trump framed the choice for Iran as an either-or: ‘Either we make a deal, or we will have to take very tough action, like last time,’ he said, referring to extrajudicial US airstrikes last June on key Iranian nuclear sites at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. He suggested that the threat of force has shifted Tehran’s approach.

Despite currently engaging in acts of aggression towards Iran, Trump expressed optimism about a diplomatic outcome. He called a potential agreement on Iran’s nuclear program “a no-brainer” and suggested it could curb Tehran’s ballistic missile capabilities. Ahead of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s White House visit today, Trump dismissed concerns of disagreement, saying Netanyahu “also wants a deal. He wants a good deal.”

⭕️ Lavrov says Europe, Kiev ‘undermine’ US Ukraine peace initiative

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Europe and Kiev of sabotaging a US-backed effort to settle the Ukraine war, saying “all subsequent versions reflected attempts by Vladimir Zelensky and, principally, his patrons in Britain, Germany, France, and the Baltic states to undermine this American initiative.”

He added that when Europe speaks of security guarantees, it means guarantees “not with Russia, but against Russia.”

Lavrov stressed that Moscow is “always prepared to compromise, or more simply, to balance interests,” but drew a red line on core principles. “Compromise cannot extend to fundamental principles upon which a state’s existence depends - least of all when the lives of millions hang in the balance,” he said, reaffirming that Russia will not sacrifice its security.

After Expelling The UAE, Saudi Arabia Carves Up Yemeni Territory

Riyadh tightens its grip on Yemen's southeast through land grabs, oil theft, and the erasure of contested borderlands.

The lives of Yemenis in coalition-held governorates have remained bleak despite the UAE's forced departure from southern Yemen. Security has not improved, the economy is still strangled, and the country's looted wealth is far from recovered.

The only change is that Riyadh is no longer sharing control with Abu Dhabi. Now, it wants the whole cake – under the pretext of restoring order and eliminating chaos.

On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia’s cabinet approved a memorandum of geological cooperation with Yemen. While framed in neutral, bureaucratic language, the move signals a new phase of resource control. Geology is the gateway to oil, gas, and rare minerals. Whoever draws the maps holds tomorrow’s economy.

The impact was immediate. In Al-Kharkheer, on the edge of the Rub' al-Khali (Empty Quarter), clashes broke out. Shortly after, the area vanished from Google Maps in an apparent digital prelude to territorial annexation.

At the same time, Riyadh deepened its presence, imposing administrative and military orders in strategic locations such as Al-Rayyan Airport, bringing in loyal forces, and pushing into Hadhramaut with heavy equipment. The Saudi-backed formations began displacing any unit not aligned with their agenda.
