❗️Jonathan Pollard claims he was raped by US interrogators during espionage questioning, says Soviet spies didn't get same treatment
Convicted spy for Israel Jonathan Pollard today claimed that he was raped by US interrogators while in custody.
“I know what it’s like to be buried alive, I know what it’s like to be brutally treated, including being raped, I understand that, under interrogation,” Pollard said in an English-language interview with Kan’s Reshet Bet radio.
When the interviewer asked whether he meant he had been raped by US interrogators after his arrest on espionage charges, Pollard responded, “Absolutely. And I’m glad some of the hostages are talking about it now.”
Pollard went on to say that “the people that interrogated me took a lot of pleasure in what they were doing, and they didn’t really care about what I answered. They actually took pleasure in hurting me. They never did that to a Soviet spy,” he said. He did not name the department or agency that carried out the interrogations.

⭕️ Israel redrawing Gaza’s ‘yellow line’ to entrench occupation, Russia tells UN
Russia’s UN Ambassador Vasily Nebenzya told the Security Council that Israel is tightening its hold over Gaza by moving the “yellow line” that splits the enclave, leaving Palestinians exposed to Israeli fire when they step over unmarked or newly shifted sections.
He said Israeli forces have altered parts of the line inside Gaza City in breach of the ceasefire and continue to block humanitarian deliveries while more than 300 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli strikes since 10 October.
Nebenzya also highlighted reports that Israel is sponsoring certain Palestinian armed groups to fight Hamas, warning this would trigger “extremely dangerous” consequences.
Nebenzya warned that without Israeli withdrawal and the restoration of Palestinian governance, the truce cannot hold.

Israeli forces now openly say their “main mission” in Rafah is to “destroy or capture the enemy,” referring to dozens of Palestinian resistance fighters trapped for months in tunnels on the Israeli controlled side of the so-called 'Yellow Line.'
Col. Adi Gonen of the Golani Brigade told reporters the army is working “day and night” to locate the fighters in Rafah’s Al-Janina neighborhood, after combat engineers destroyed hundreds of meters of tunnels and warplanes hit more than 60 targets, including tunnel shafts and residential buildings, according to Israeli media.
Israeli sources admit they no longer know how many remain alive, early estimates of around 200 shrunk to 150, then 80, and now “several dozen,” whom they describe as starving and short on supplies after months underground.
In recent weeks, mediators, the US and regional channels, had discreetly explored an arrangement that would have allowed the besieged fighters to cross the Yellow Line unarmed into resistance held territory in exchange for the remains of Israeli officer Hadar Goldin, whose body Hamas located and returned in early November as part of the ceasefire framework.
But Palestinian and regional sources say Israel backed away from these Rafah understandings after recovering Goldin’s body, and Israeli officers now confirm that safe passage is off the table.
Instead of a negotiated exit, occupation forces are tightening the siege, demolishing tunnels, encircling Al-Janina, and using repeated air and artillery strikes to collapse the underground network and wear down those who remain.
Despite limited weapons and increasingly scarce food, the fighters have repeatedly evaded capture, occasionally surfacing at night to scavenge supplies before slipping back below ground, Israeli reports say.
On 22 November, the Israeli army claimed a Qassam fighter crossed the Yellow Line and opened fire on its troops, then used the incident to justify a wave of airstrikes that killed over 21 Palestinians, most of them civilians, in southern Gaza, according to local medical sources.
As commanders frame the tunnels as a final “standoff” to be resolved “either by surrender or death,” Israel is signaling that it intends to end this siege not through negotiation nor even real confrontation, but through brute force, relying on superior firepower to strike from a distance rather than face the underground fighters it has so far been unable to defeat.

“An update of their analysis, produced after the publication of the study, revealed that the current violent death toll likely exceeds 100,000,” the Max Planck Society said in an article on the study.
The research aligns with two other studies on the Gaza death toll , which have found the real number of violent deaths is likely around 40% higher than what the Gaza Health Ministry has reported. The latest update from the Health Ministry said its death toll has reached 69,775.
The studies deal only with violent deaths, not indirect deaths caused by the Israeli siege and destruction of Gaza’s infrastructure.

The death toll of Palestinians who were killed by Israel during the two-year genocide could be more than 100,000, according to a new study carried out by researchers at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) in the German city of Rostock.
“We will never know the exact number of dead. We are only trying to estimate as accurately as possible what a realistic order of magnitude might be,” said the co-leader of the project, Irena Chen.
The team of researchers gathered data from various sources – including Gaza’s Health Ministry, independent household surveys, and death reports found on social media – and conducted statistical projections.
“We used non-conflict mortality data to forecast the baseline mortality for 2023 and 2024, representing a counterfactual scenario in the absence of conflict. The forecast was generated using the Poisson version of the Lee-Carter method,” the study said.
Gaza’s Health Ministry is the only official source for the number of Palestinians killed by Israel since the genocide started on 7 October 2023.

But the war did not spare him or his family. Their area was bombed, and his workshop was completely destroyed. In addition, his house was bombed too, leaving him homeless and without any means of livelihood.
Today, he and his children live in unbearable conditions. They have nothing to eat. His children are suffering from malnutrition because he can no longer provide food or medicine. He doesn't know how to explain to them that he can no longer give them anything. The pain in their eyes breaks his heart every day. No children should have to endure this and no parent should have to watch.
