He says he's looking forward to the hostages returning to their families, for peace in the Middle East, and he thanked the mediators.

I do not think there will be a deal or peace.

The U.S. and Israel will not agree to the demands Hamas made today. America is just pretending not to notice the changes made by Hamas (Palestinian-led administration, no disarmament, full withdrawal etc.) They're simply kicking the can down the road.

The moment the two sides actually sit down for talks on the details of the agreement it'll fail, unless they miraculously agree to Hamas' additional points that were mentioned today.

In other words, Trump is framing this as a Hamas 'acceptance' of his proposal, but it was really more of a 'Yes, BUT...', and that's a very big BUT, not a small one. Major changes were demanded today by Hamas.

America can pretend to ignore this for now, but at some point these new details WILL have to be discussed, and both sides will quickly realize they're not in sync.
