🇪🇸 Pese a que el almeriense Desierto de Tabernas lleva la fama de escenario de rodaje de la edad de oro del Spaghetti Western, género que halló en España su lugar predilecto de grabación, la provincia pionera y mayor productora de largometrajes fue la de Madrid. En las zonas agrestes del norte y el oeste se ubicaron poblados artificiales como Golden City, Lega-Michelena o Daganzo de Arriba, por los cuales desfilaron profesionales de la talla de Clint Eastwood y Sergio Leone -probablemente no son los de la fotografía sobre estas líneas-.

🇪🇸 Hoy queremos recordar a Felix Rodriguez de la Fuente, naturalista y divulgador que hace 41 años murió víctima de un accidente de avioneta.
Felix fue pionero en España estudiando y descubriendo los comportamientos de la fauna local y dándolos a conocer, siendo sus amplios estudios sobre el lobo ibérico y las rapaces y su ayuda a la conservación de especies como el oso pardo, el lobo ibérico, el muflón y el lince ibérico (todos en serio peligro de extinción) su más destacada herencia.

En un 23 de abril de 1616 era enterrado en el convento de las Trinitarias descalzas el que vino a ser llamado Príncipe de los Ingenios españoles.
Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra había fallecido un día antes de diabetes y mala vejez en un Madrid donde los odios africanos entre Quevedo y Góngora no eclipsaron en absoluto la popularidad de las obras cervantinas, y ésta aumentaría en el tiempo.
