New Year, New Us? #Blog
Hey people, happy 2024 but we are one year older. I don't think we need to mention but we had been pretty much inactive on the maintenance of the channels over here. Sometines, for weeks, you would just be receiving LineageOS weekly update posts which are pretty much automated.

We, as a human, know that life is complicated and there are a ton of things to do, which applied for us too. It would be great to be notified of all custom ROM releases by the communities in one place, we really wanted to get there too.

For all these times, there seem to be a lot of inconsistency happening. If you hopped across multiple ROMs, then you had realised the default wallpaper doesn't match the one we put up on the banner, for some at least. We just don't actually have the time to just go and check up on the repository tree every time, do we?

Anyway, I personally fixed that last month, and hopefully over the coming time, we will try to avoid all these issues. Another thing we hope to get it right would be the update post itself, which sometimes got delayed for up to a month before reaching to the channel itself.

The only feasible way to solve this, is that someone has to be a "24/7 robot checker" across channels & forums so that we won't miss out an update. This is impossible as we know, but we will do whatever we can to keep it up. It would be great if someone could lend us a hand though. Thanks for your understanding.

A busy year #Blog
Since May, most of our channels have had no proper update posts in a few weeks time. I hate to mention it over and over again but it's the truth, other than the channels, we are also human beings with our own life.

To be honest, it would be better for me to take a break from the community for the coming months in order to focus on something that is much more important in my life at the moment. No guarantee but I will try to keep up with monthly updates from Google at least.

This year, in fact, will be by far the busiest year for me. Some channels still received updates, all thanks to people who are willing to lend their hand and keep the community updated, but this doesn't apply for everyone. Seriously, if you think you are typically bored and the type of person who typically checks for every update in the community, you are sincerely welcome to update everyone on the channel.

That's pretty much it, I hope everyone understands the reason behind the hiatus of our certain channels. It's more sort of a hobby you could say, we do this whenever we have the time voluntarily. Lastly, a video to revisit the good ol' days, and a clear installation guide on how to install custom ROM for older Pixels:

An update after a hiatus for months #Blog
This will be a pretty quick announcement post regarding all the missing & inaccurate posts on our channels (mainly Pixel 6):

LineageOS has been pretty uncertain on the build schedule these days, and I really don't have the time to just check around and correct the link and the information on the post. Sometimes the build got delayed till the next day, which is why you won't get a working link despite waiting for the whole day with a broken link on our post. Nevertheless, it is always recommended to check across the official download portal for the most accurate information on the availability of the build.

How about other ROMs you asked? Well, the LineageOS post is just scheduled on the channel since they are usually built weekly on the roster, though it's not an easy job to manually schedule that many posts for the future. And I think I have mentioned earlier that I really need to take a break as I have more important things to focus on, once that's sorted I will get back to it but it will be a few months till the operation is back to normal.

It's highly appreciated if there's someone out there who is willing to help with the maintenance of the channel at the moment, especially over at the Pixel 6 community. This is another reason why we aren't considering expanding it to more devices, though I really wish I can get to that point with the help of others. I don't want to make it look dead but you know, everyone really still has their own life. This channel operates with no costs and just pure interests, so if you know, you know. Thanks for the understanding and for the meantime, thanks for staying around.
