Position Overview:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior PHP/MySQL Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining our online e-commerce system. This role requires a deep understanding of PHP and MySQL and a passion for creating robust, scalable, and efficient web applications.‍
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, test, and maintain our e-commerce platform using PHP and MySQL.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Optimize and refactor existing code to improve performance and maintainability.
Ensure the security and integrity of our e-commerce system.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements:
— Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
— Minimum of 5 years of experience in PHP development.
— Extensive experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and management.
— Strong understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
— Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and payment gateway integration.
— Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
— Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
— Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
— Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
— Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
— Knowledge of server management and deployment.
— Understanding of SEO best practices.
— Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
