U.S will move their forces from both Iraq & Syria.

This move suggest the U.S will maintain presence only in stable Middle Eastern countries like Qatar, Oman, Saudi, UAE.

As American casualties are completely unnecessary and obviously unpopular to the American public.

🇸🇴 🇦🇪 🇺🇸 🏴 Puntland security forces have released the mugshots of some of the foreign ISIS lowlifes captured during operations, it includes nationals from Turkey, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Ethiopia, Syria, and Tanzania. Puntland forces, backed by UAE precision strikes and U.S. AFRICOM intelligence, logistics, and air support, killed an estimated 600-700 fighters. The detainees revealed ISIS's local structure, extortion-based financing, training infrastructure, and regional coordination networks.

The high number of foreign fighters confirms ISIS-Somalia is regarded as a major recruitment and training hub for the group, functioning as a coordination center for African affiliates. Foreign fighters are drawn by ideological narratives of hijra and tamkin, with Somalia promoted on ISIS channels as a base to regroup, train, and maintain operations following setbacks in Syria and Iraq.

I actually watched a mini documentary on this topic recently

One of the reason why there are so many Ethiopians is because seemingly the Islamic State is running a campaign in Ethiopia where they tell people that there are tons of good paying jobs in Puntland port towns like Bosaso

The Ethiopian migrants in search of work then go to Puntland, often using up all their savings for the trip, thinking they will get a job but upon arrival they realize there are no jobs and they are stranded in Puntland without accommodation, a job or a way back.

After that they get approached by men undercover recruiting for the Islamic State and subtly try to get them to join, for example one man who was interviewed anonymously said he was asked to deliver packages.

After he had delivered the packages he realized what was in them and who was sending them realizing further he can't just go to the authorities now as he'll be treated as a terrorist he was "forced" to join the Islamic State.

🇸🇩🇦🇪🇮🇱- There has been a surge of military aircraft connecting the UAE and Israel, indicating Tel Aviv has begun playing an active role in arming the Rapid Support Forces of Sudan.

Flights from the UAE have landed in Israel, then taken off towards Chad or more commonly Ethiopia. Aircraft have also departed from Israel towards Turkmenistan / Uzbekistan, such as Reg: 7Q-ASU, then to the UAE. Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan have long been used by the Emirati state as a logistical base, but more importantly a hub for mercenaries.
