Following advances overnight in Naqil Al-Mazhar and Jabal Arf, the Sanaa forces completed their encircling manoeuvre in the Zariqa al-Yaman area after capturing Al-Hajjaj and linking up with the forces from Al-Majza. Tribal forces defected from the Aden forces there, enabling the capture of Jabal Al-Rasha, Jabal Al-Qahnan, Jabal Sayfan and Jabal Hanu.
Ansarallah’s advances continued southwards, with the capture of Al-Sarir, Al-Malikah, Al-Hijrah, Hisn al-Zanqari, Al-Farijah, Al-Habwah, Al-Afaj, Qawsara and Al-Tawsali.
Meanwhile, in the north, Ansarallah regained control of Souq Al-Rubu and captured Yafah, shifting the fighting to Al-Sakhir Mabaq and Al-Sawalihah, and closing in on Al-Arbadi.
