FREMM takes 3-4 years to build and cost $800 million.
US completely disregarding why it chose low risk proven design, fiddled with it so much it costs $1.2 billion and is 12% completed despite work starting in 2022 on very unfinished design and earliest delivery date is 2029.
In May 2024 the program was still described as 20 ship with possibility of another production run

After the elections 3 days ago both the opposition and the incumbent government said they won and the other side cheated, despite the results not being out yet
The military who officially stated they have seized power could be trying to use the situation and claim they did it to prevent both sides from paralyzing and dragging the country down with them
