"Pulte showed up at Trump’s Palm Beach Golf Club with a three-by-five poster board with a graphic of former President Franklin Roosevelt with a “30-year-mortgage” and Trump with the “50-year-mortgage,” according to the report."
Bill Pulte, director of the FHFA then began telling Trump about how everyone would love it and how he would be compared to FDR and be seen as this wonderful president
Sources inside the White House later complained that in theory people are supposed to be vetted on their idea before pitching it to Trump
