🔥 In the morning hours of today, October 3rd, Ukraine hit the Orsknefteorgsintez refinery in Russia’s Orenburg region located at 📍51.249714314, 58.519185519.
⚠️ The target of the strike seems to have been the refinery’s LCh-24-2000 gasoline and diesel hydrotreating unit, modernized in 2014 for deeper fuel purification and compliance with new environmental standards.
☁️ Videos of locals show white clouds hanging over the facility following the strike. It cannot be independently verified what damage this strike managed to cause.
📏 The refinery is located approximately 850 km from Ukraine’s center.
