I have a theory (well many) regarding Iran regime change.

Currently the power is held by the clergy and enforced by the IRGC, and those are the main target of Israel contrary to Artesh (the conventional army), and as a result of the last war, crucial positions like the one of Chief of staff of the armed forces (Artesh + IRGC) was given to an army general.

I believe the Iranian army alongside current president Pezeshkian might try to coup the current regime, taking advantage of the IRGC lack of leadership since they are being hunted down in and outside Iran.

It would be a smoother transition that Israel and the US would back without the need of a larger operation or even a clandestine one.

Btw I don’t believe Palhavi would be put back in power, he is still impopular + he is a cuck who let his wife fuck a French man.

I believe it’s a plan within plan kind of stuff, a coup attempt successful or not could lead to a civil war which is also good enough for the CIA , it might even turn into a Myanmar scenario with all ethnic entities escalating.
