Ukrainian drone units decisively beat a U.S. armored brigade in a major exercise in Germany, exposing gaps in America’s adaptation to modern drone warfare.

Ukrainian operators quickly detected U.S. vehicles, then simulated destroying them with explosive and FPV drones—so effectively that U.S. units had to repeatedly “respawn.”

BIG: Sudan’s RSF-appointed Kordofan governor Hamad Mohamed Hamed defected live on Al Arabiya today.

He quit his role as governor and presidential council member under the RSF-linked Tasis government, calling on fighters to “return to the embrace of the homeland.”

He accused the RSF of fueling tribal and racial tensions, destroying cities, and killing civilians, describing conditions under RSF control as “heartbreaking.”

He urged restoring legitimate state institutions in Kordofan and Darfur.

More and more high ranking RSF leaders are starting to switch sides, which is a good sign in itself as when opportunist rats like these jump ship it means it's about to sink.

However the infuriating part is that all these creatures which spent the last year's slaughtering innocents will get red carpet receptions in the capital and a nice cushy office after the war, no one that defects now will actually get punished for anything they did

They’ll all mysteriously die of natural causes or accidents within 5 years of the war ending. The military government will be too paranoid to keep any of these turncoats of dubious allegiance in positions of power, let alone alive or out of prison. They already did that mistake back in 2023

Also, just while we're on the topic of Sudan, the RSF has apparently launched an offensive from Ethiopia into the Blue Nile state, and have made advances beyond Geisan (a border town).

Sudan War Monitor hasn't posted about it yet so I won't take it as a fact yet, but Rerum and a few other channels have posted advances yesterday.

This would confirm Ethiopia's involvement in the war, despite their denials, as previous advances from their territory into the Kurmuk region could theoretically have been launched from South Sudan, even if they definitely weren't.
